Yes but that was based on poor understanding of McDermott's team selection. Even if his stats last night were average he'd be playing at Wembley because their's no JJB playing as a middle man. We aren't going to have a bench of three 2nd rowers in Delaney, Achurch and Keinhorst. |

Very true. But still extremely pleasing that his performance was way above average. |

Singleton definitely got some good performances in him, question of whether he can do it repeatadly week after week. Seems quite at home at Hull's ground though, like when he started the 43 point 2nd half battering we gave them at the start of the year. |

I think he's got it in him but it'll be a gradual process. Even so, the games awash with props no more consistent, some of whom are pretty highly regarded. For me he holds his own amongst all but the top 10%, even now. |

Maybe he saw it as a chance to earn his Wembley spot. I still say that for his age he is doing very well.
