His public comments about the team and players at several times this year have really accelerated his demise. As much as he tried to gloss over his dead horse comment he couldn't have been more accurate.

The squad is not right. 1 prop who isn't that big. Only 1 centre who's very young. No go forward. Lot's of effort but we needed another prop and a centre not a back rower and a winger. Plus King looked as good as any of our forwards tonight. Tony Smith would lose most weeks with this squad.

Every single week the pack has nothing after 50 minutes, his selections have been dreadful and he hasn't responded to this continual major issue.

Kings a really good player. Saw him when I went to see Cas v Salford with a mate. Looked the most mobile and biggest forward on the park. Another negative for our coaching….!

I still like Handley too. And I feel so sorry for Mik carrying that pack at his age.

Yes as I said earlier a lot of the players are not this bad.

He may well be, but doesn't he want the DOR job? How can he be DOR and responsible for recruitment / rugby matters when he hasn't got a clue? Still don't understand why Furner was sacked..? Was it because he spoke the truth about some of the dross we had / have.... and wanted to clear it out? I just don't see what Sean Long brings to the party as he is supposed be the attack coach? can someone point out the "attacking" we have done this season.. One bug bear i have is our total inability to tackle.. it's shocking. My son's u16 team show more ability in tackling. Get ur bloody shoulders into the ribs. Rant over.
I also think there needs to be other changes at the club.. some people are past their sell by date. New owners wouldn't go a miss with fresh ideas. Maybe time for the sleeve to step aside.. i think there was a post somewhere on the forum about how long some people have been at the club.. maybe fresh faces would help./
