Hull will be buoyed by that win on Saturday, deserved or not. They're much improved from the opening night side that got rolled so easily at Headingley, and have some real threats on the edges who can take advantage of Leeds shaky defending.

I reckon they'll pick up a narrow home win on Friday.

Without the cameras there yesterday the Maguire try stands and we win the game as Silverwood should really have called it at the time plus it didn't have any bearing on the actual play. We gave Wigan the game with the errors made by Bailey, JJB and Sinny all cost us 14 points without those errors again we win the game. To say they were better than us is ridiculous they are without doubt and excellent side and the form team at the moment but and side would flourish with gift wrapped points that keep their score ticking over......if we cut out the errors we'll be there or there abouts at the end of the season

How did those three errors cost Leeds 14 points and if Leeds are allowed to be error free in this hypothetical game you're playing do Wigan get the same luxury?

One of the Bailey ones certainly cost Leeds two points.

His knock on when he was trying to milk a penalty led to a try. Then the needless push on Tomkins led to a pen.

That's just a slightly more composed dummy spit really though, isn't it? He didn't like the decision, even though it was the right one, so he's having a whinge in a way that he thinks doesn't make him look like he's having a whinge.

The knock on trying to milk the penalty gave Wigan the field position. It wasn't directly responsible for Leeds then conceding on the next set.

I realise how people get to the 14 point total through errors but question if conceding a try on the sixth tackle following the Bailey knock on is worthy of inclusion. Just because you lose possession doesn't automatically lead to the inevitable concession of a try in the following set or at least it shouldn't.

It would be remiss though not to take the opportunity to point out who it was, when he had the chance to come in and nail Tomkins, instead opted to get half-way there then inexplicably stop himself and look to the outside man - leaving himself stranded doing absolutely nothing. It was his and Leeds' only hope and as usual he half-realised what he had to do then fluffed it. He had a good game overall though according to his many admirers which generally translates as him not making any absolutely glaring cock-ups so hopefully no-one will actually bother to see and comment on what he actually did.

He was hard done to on the first one IMO. O'Loughlin just laid in the ruck and his prescence certainly contributed to the ball coming loose. If anyone but Bailey was in that position, I reckon we'd have got a penalty out of it. Trouble is, the refs can't wait to blow the whistle when he's involved. I guess we've just got to live with that because of the sort of player he is.

The shove on Logan Tomkins was plain stupidity however, no arguments there.
