If we were to win the next 2 games, there could be a scenario where the way to be certain of keeping Leeds in 9th, would be for Huddersfield and Wakey to draw the round 23 game.
Has happened in football world cup group games, but a 0-0 in soccer is easier to "arrange" than a draw in RL.

If we win our next games I doubt that would be a scenario for either team. The points difference to Wakefield coul be much closer, and Huddersfields would still be much worse. Huddersfield need another two points minimum, and Wakefield need another four currently.
Of course Wakefield could beat us tonight, and all that ends anyway. |

Clubs don't need franchising to invest in the future - surely franchising just makes clubs lazy. The best way of ensuring your long term future is to out-invest your competition. If you know you have a 5 year guaranteed position what is the encouragement to invest.
I get you can have a bad season with injuries etc. but which clubs have been relegated - have any of the bigger clubs that invest the most come close - not one.
Virtually every SL club has a youth development programme - they may not run reserve grade - that is what the Championship should be for |

I think we are in the middle 8's now. I think Wakey will beat hull next week. If they do that would make them safe and nothing really to play for at Huddersfield the week after, meaning a Huddersfield victory.
