A missed tackle is only classed when falling off a tackle. That is fact. This has been mentioned before about leaving gaps and not recorded.

Not talking about leaving gaps I'm talking about covering 15 yards diving full length getting hands on the player but not completing. That's a great effort but still a missed tackle.

There are missed tackles and missed tackles but they all go down as 1 on the sheet which is why unless you know which tackles are missed you cant go off the stats sheet to judge.

Trust your eyes and judgement. You said yesterday you thought Sutty did ok (no more no less) and I think you was absolutly correct. In typical Liam Sutcliffe style he just does enough to get by. Hes not as bad as people make out, he has ability but gives the impression he cant really be bothered and does what he needs to do to get picked next game. The lad needs a rocket up his backside.in truth.

Sutcliffe doesn’t have ability, not agreeing with that, certainly not ability to play stand off for a super league side. But Gaskell gets away with it. He is very much a common denominator in the regression of Leeds as a club.

Do you know the 4 he missed? I suspect not. I know I don't so how can he be criticised for them on the back of a stats sheet? Crazy. You csnt judge a performance and then change an opinion from looking at a spreadsheet.

He does have ability its nonsense to say he doesn't. He scored a nice try yesterday.. Does he apply that ability often enough? Certainly not. Is he good enough to play stand off for Leeds long term? Certainly not but hes not talentless and to say he has no ability isn't fair.

Leeds are. We have made panic short term signings both this year and last.
If Leeds were able to not worry about relegation I’m pretty sure none of Crosby, Donaldson, Thompson, Albert would have been signed.

Which shows just how destabilising relegation is for clubs consistently toward the bottom of the table.

If this were the NRL Leeds, London, Hull KR would be able to plan for the next 3-5 years instead of panicking about this one. That’s 25% of the league at a minimum that is negatively affected by relegation.

It doesn’t work in a sport like RL.
In fact the only sport it does work in is football which is so strong and has so many clubs it doesn’t matter if some are weakened by it.

Leeds arent panicking weve given more kids a chance this year than when licensing was around as the club have said the average age of the team yesterday was 24.

That's not the sign of a team in panic mode. Think people forget how young lads like Walker, Oledski and Cam Smith are. Throw in the likes of Newman and Sutcliffe yesterday plus kids like Trout, Holroyd McLelland who have played SL this year already and you can see a long term plan developing. I think a few others will get the nod shortly Dupree is on loan to get experience and lads like Muizz, Johnson, Briadbent, Walters and McConnell await their chance.

London and KR are below us and I see no signs of them in panic mode either ti be fair.

Marty, all of those players except McLelland played before this year, and rightly so. You are ignoring the right point that Him made there. I mean come on, you don’t disagree with his point, because you have pretty much voiced the same previously, just in a different context.

I am sure we will see others come through, but so they should, but I don’t think it will necessarily be the same players a lot mention, and for the right reasons.

I do respect Peter, he's watched a lot over a long time, but I never ever agree with his player ratings!
