The Boys are not fit to wear the jersey. Cannot believe some comments on here saying can change a team over the off season, these people need to take their blue and amber glasses off and realise the team simply cannot defend, the coach is poor, his support is poor and recruitment is terrible. We've got rid of Mullaly, Walters and Ormroyde and we end up spending the money on bargain basement rubbishy again. Sinfield as great a player he was he performance in this role is terrible. I'm not too despondent about that one, because I didn't think all our problems were fixed with one 1 point win against an under-strength Cas at home.

Furner isn't making Walker kick the ball out on the full several times, or Sutcliffe. Couple of one on one tackle misses, also not Furner's responsibility.

We've had a squad which is overall very poor for SL for some time now; we are going to struggle through this year because we need to change the players.

Whether a new coach could give the squad a short-term lift, I don't know, but I suspect consistency is what we actually need. We don't need to win every week: we need to score more points than London IMO.
