| Said last year when Sinfield gave Ferris the armband what signal does that give out , yes he has shown an improvement this year but still way off the standard required and certainly no leader .

| Ferres is rubbish, his goal line defence is unbelievabley bad and he's averaging a miserable 5.7m a carry, playing left edge second row, shows what a terrible signing he's been that some think he's having an improved year. Furner talking about getting more experience into the team aswel, my god, mayswel scrap the academy, experience is only useful if there bodys can back it up, ferres is completely shot, Abletts going to be better than Suttcliffe but his body cant have much more left, but sounds like thats our second row goin forward.
Mayswel loan Cam Smith to Fev for the year, everytime he's played backrow, he's played well, but cant get a look in. Furners talk about the young lads pre season seems to be just that, talk. We'v got the worst backrow in the league, we'v got one of the best young backrowers in the country....Our logic...Send him on duel-reg

| This takes me back to the bad old days, after another defeat you would look at the players available and think what can we change to improve?and like now you would reach the same conclusion!NOTHING!

| Maybe controversial but i think Wigans problems are worse than ours, I do think we have shown some glimpses as have wigan but as weak as we may think our squad and coach is I think theirs is worse

I have been calling for Smith to get in, but he was a turnstile in D. You can’t just look at players going forward, that’s part of the reason Leeds are in this mess.
If smith sorts his defence out he has all the potential in the world, but he’ll need to work hard at it and it’s partly an attitude which you either have or don’t.
Then again he probably needs to be defending tighter in than last time TBF.

| Watched furners presser and he was furious. He lambasted the weak middle and wingers not catching the high ball.
Also the poor kicking game from the halves and showing no leadership. I do seem to recall Gary Schofield calling this in pre season and he was rounded on for saying it. He was spot on.
Saw the highlights and we looked like relegation battle material already. Furner looking at all options he said inc possibly squad improvements

| Unfortunately we are no further forward than last year, while some players have been moved on, generally letting both Garbutt go and Klienhorst go has been a mistake. Sinfield returning was seen as a good move but it hasn't. Improved the team performance, we still gave contracts to the boys, namely JJB and Ablett, both are injured so nothing has changed. Nothing wrong with the signings just not enough and with the Mullally , Walters and Ormenroyd going there must be scope to go out and buy an experienced player to help Marshall the team. What I cannot understand is why have we the same back room team that failed so much last year, whilst Furner is under big pressure, the same pressure is also on Sinfield, would you still allow James Lowe anywhere near the first team . My big problem with Furner is we have some great kids, Cam Smith etc but if f they have a bad game they are dropped and sent to Fev on duel reg, yet he keeps playing his favourites , like I said Furner is under big pressure , and while GH and Sinfield was lapping up the praise in the Directors suite before the game against Wakefield, the atmosphere will be totally different next Friday against Lonon, because now GH has passed the pressure onto Sinfield and he is now in the firing line, he has to take responsibility for Furner and the new signings, only time will tell.

He was out of position against wakefield, defended too tight, because thats what hs knows, and didnt have the pace to make up for it. His defence has never been a problem when playing in the backrow.
Even if his defence was a problem, id rather play the 20 yearold with all the potential, whos miles better on attack, than the two ploders who have been playing, who offer no potential what so ever, are terrible defenders and offer nothing atall in attack.
If your basing smiths defence off the wskey game, i think thats massivley unfair on him, if your basing if off all the games he's played in the backrow, i disagree, his defence has been fine when in his natural position.

| I thought it was a good presser from Furner actually. He’s not sugar coating things and he knows what isn’t right. Got the impression he’s losing patience with some players already and so changes will be made - when he can make changes.
He needs time, we aren’t going to make progress with knee-jerk after knee-jerk. This team needs a new but consistent vision over time - right now that squad still isn’t authentic Furner/Sinfield. New signings have been much better than previous years, let’s give it a chance.

Nah mate he was a bit off in a few games at Bradford too. His defence is the reason why he’s not a 1st team regular already, he has all the talent otherwise.
I agree with you but for me it would be Cam Smith instead of Sutcliffe, not as well as. You can’t have too many dodgy Ds at the same time, especially with Tui on that right side as well.

Behave, a few dodgy games on loan as an 18 yearold, come on, reaching a bit there mate. He was poor all round at bradford, didnt settle atall.
Iv never seen anyone question his defence in the games he's played for us in the backrow.
He'd be in for Ferres or suttcliffe for me, both need to be dropped, there as bad as each other. Ferres defence is awful, certainly isnt any better than smiths.

| Leeds have said it will take time and it will but some fans can't handle that, it's tough to take I admit but we've seen it all before.
People seem to forget when the golden generation came thru they made mistakes, they missed tackles. Every youngster does. Can Smith should be in the 17 every week. If we're in rebuild mode let's rebuild. Ablett and JJB aren't going to help rebuild this team.
Furner said last night that we've missed Ablett's experience but he will learn quickly that his body can't do it anymore, same with JJB and same with Cuthbo. They've all been good servants but we should have moved on at end of last season.

| What has happened to Singleton? I never saw him as a leading prop for a team with aspirations but he was never as bad as his stats this year. What kind of minutes is he getting, Furner seems to have no confidence in him?

Yeah agreed, he looked like he was furious and struggling to contain it.
