Very good discipline wise as well although his hit ups have been a little disappointing.

Some (not me) would say he still outworked Ian Kirke.

This will be a test of McClennan's man management abilities someone has to miss out - I would Ablett for Kirke and go with that.

If Clarkson does miss out it will be a travesty and will cast doubt over McClennan's ability to make the really tough decisions.

If you were picking a side based on last night's performance then Burrow would miss out - can't see that though?

Burrow had a shocker last night, defensively he was OK but going forward he was terrible. I know one bad game doesn't end a career but he was nowhere near the player he was last year.

If we weren't playing such a poor team last night we'd have paid much more heavily for his mistakes.

I think Ablett will be included. We have too many of the pack carring injuries and to leave a player out who has had a 3 week break would be wrong IMO.Just a pity he cannot play prop.
Clarkson should be included because he looks fully fit plus his form warrants it.
Eastwood, Bailey, Ali and Kirke are all playing while unfit and Leuluai also got a knock last night. Whoever came through last nights game in the best shape should get the nod for next week although i fear we are going to be very light in the front row.

Clarkson in the 17 would be fully justified IMO on recent form.

As patchy as Burrow has been we just seem to look a better shape with him in the team.

Judgeing by comments on the Sporting life site from Bluey my guess is Clarkson will play. And I agree with those who think we need to replace Eastwood with a quality front row forward, not a back row. I thought this a while back, but now after Peacock's injury I think it's even more important.

Clarkson's name will be the first to be pencilled in by Bluey. The lad has come on in leaps and bounds, and his form fully justifies his spot.

Ablett in for Kirke would be my choice as well.

I've no doubt Clarkson will play. Very few (if any?) fans saying he shouldn't and, more importantly, nothing at all to suggest that Bluey thinks otherwise.

Just to add he's played a lot of minutes and his standards have'nt dropped which is a bonus.

Don't think Ablett should replace Clarkson, straight choice between Kirke and Ablett for me.

Ablett is a far better player but Kirke's size and a stint at prop may swing it in his favour.
