Yep ! Sounds the biz to me
Here's hoping Smith actually plays well enough this time to stop Webb walking straight back into his full back spot when fit. He disappoints with his 'crab' running and now apparent woeful passing, but am sure he will come good.

could make an error as obvious as this

Great opportunity for McShane to build on his real promising start. At times like this it makes you realise how prudent it is to have the three recognised hookers signed up.....but can anybody genuinely still deny the excellence and superiority of Buderus, who really has [ibeing[/i a towering winning influence recently ??

| Not sure I agree with expecting someone of Burrow's size to put in a hooker's tackling stint in their first game back after injury.

| Burrow has started at hooker three times in his Leeds career, once for Daryl Powell in 2003 and twice for Tony Smith in 2004.
Here are a few choice snippets from the YEP match report after Burrow's full hooking debutLeeds Rhinos were today enjoying an open topped bus parade around London – to celebrate one of their best victories of the Super League era....And after coming through three games in a week with their unbeaten record intact, they've certainly earned the day off....With Gary Connolly rested, youngster Richard Mathers got his chance at full-back and responded with a superb display, highlighted by a stunning early try-saving tackle on Steele Retchless....Rob Burrow, replacing Matt Diskin at hooker, was magnificent and fellow Academy product Danny McGuire had his best full game for Leeds, capped by two crucial tries to maintain his excellent strike-rate....Barrie McDermott and Ryan Bailey provided vital go-forward....Leeds went ahead on 11 minutes when McDermott offloaded out of a tackle to Bailey and his one-handed pass was accepted by Burrow who burst through two tackles and out-paced the defence on a 40-metre diagonal run to the line....Then on 29 minutes Francis Stephenson's pass was intercepted by McGuire 18 metres from the Leeds line and he did a passable impression of a young Garry Schofield to leave the chasers stranded for the Rhinos' third touchdown....Rob Jackson got over the line but lost possession in Burrow's tackle....Academy hooker Jon Hepworth made his Rhinos debut, coming on as a late substitute.[/i

Oops!! sorry wheels for such an unforgivable faux pas.
it was more an effort to knock the supercilious G1 down a peg or two ....but I really should continue to leave it to the real sage TVOC...who is far more adept and clever in exposing his idiocy.

| Everyone has their own opinion but I can't wait to see Robbie in action again and in his proper position. Sinnie and DMc have done fine at halfback but I think we've missed robbies spark and speed/backing up. Can't quiet understand people wanting to play players in different positions, can understand when someone is injured but not otherwise. Also missed those shovel hands of Ali, nothing better on the field than seeing him bursting through or that fantastic offload, just hope he can steer clear of injuries for rest of season.

| Yes they've been fine, sinny would play well and give 100% in most positions but we haven't had that flowing line movement and support play, agree that webby is missed and influential in the broken play, best FB in superleague without doubt. I just think that the triangle works well with Sinny moving the forwards about and not having to create elsewhere then move back in the middle. The amount of tackling and work he does can't help but cut down his options for open play.

| Always liked Kev at 6 myself, I agree that Rob should be at hooker either starting or bench hooker for some good distribution and maybe jumping out of dummy half when they tire.
Eastwood out for 6 to 10 weeks and Buderus out for 2 to 4

Not sure about this as we also have the current England hooker who could also fill in there allowing rob to take up his creative role. I have a feeling that McShane will start with Burrow on the bench, When Burrow comes onyou may find Sinfield patrolling the PTB area but Burrow given licence to scoot if a quick PTB is in order.

| Seems we are going to have one of those seasons with regard to injuries. I think if we add anything to the trophy cabinet this year it will have been done the hard way. Buderus look like he will miss the CC semi, a huge blow without him or Diskin. I guess we can just cross our fingers and hope everyone is fit and firing for the key playoff games in September.

Losing Buderus is a real blow....let's hope this plan (or any other) now has some longevity.
Undoubtedly we've had our fair share of major injuries this season. Perhaps we should lower our expectations accordingly: can then only be all the more sweet when we do go onto win the CC and GF
