| Quote: DHM "Completely agree. However, we don't look like winning a game. Instead of doing the clever, skillfull little things that win games we are doing the little dumb things that lose a game. I don't believe the guys were not trying but it's almost without any plan or team cohesion, particularly with the ball.'"
That's the most pertinent thing for me.."we don't look like winning a game" !!! Effort and game planning are divergent.....where is any sign of coaching or team talk influence at half time? ?
At least the players don't look worried as demonstrated by their laughing and joking at the end of the match. McGuire and Smith looked like they had celebrated a cracking joke together about the stupidity of paying spectators

| Remember folks last night was a rematch of last season's best, arguably the two biggest clubs in SL.

Wilkin just made the worst defensive read I think I've seen. Looks totally uninterested.

Wilkin should just retire and become a pundit full time, he is actually pretty good at it.

Agreed. Please, please, please have him replace Barry, Terry and Phil Clarke at Sky. O'Connor in particular is just a noise, nothing even remotely worth listening to.

So how many games would you suscribe to before saying there might just be a bit of a problem? And your solution(s)? A bit Neville Chambelain-ish maybe? (You're the one that made the war analogy
What a sad world you must live in if you think a smile and a laugh is showing "contempt to the paying public" What are you calling for ...sack cloth and ashes or the walk of atonement?
I have never said we do not have a problem. I just don't agree with your solution or your non stop 'fifth column' postings

So what is your answer? Yet more time? More appeasment (and hope things will get better) of a bad situation?

icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.:icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg |

| Quote: Juan Cornetto "The fact that despite the weakness of the team (9 first teamers out) meaning only one halfback and the lack of confidence they never gave up even when down to 12 men. I would say this is a sign that the coaches are influencing the players. It was player errors just after half time that took the game away.
Give over. It is still only sport not war.'"
That it is strange paradox - coach is influencing players positively who then make errors!!
Of that team last night 9 would drop out to accommodate those injured - really?
