I've just watched the highlights and I really don't know how you can say he was not to blame for that try - very poor positioning and bad missed tackle.
Very, very rose tinted glasses there mate.'"
I said not solely down to him, i.e it was partly down to him but equally poor defending put us in that position.
No rose tinted glasses just looking at it objectively.
Leeming and Martin were far more to blame for their first try, but Hurrell gets all the stick. I don’t know what the opposite of rose tinted spectacles is but some seem to have them regarding Hurrell

That would be just tinted glasses.

| Get hurrel outside a proper half and he will be fine. Plenty wrong with his defence yes but some must be down to fatigue

| Anyone notice last night when Dwyer scored his try near the end of the game and Evalds made contact with Thaler?
I'm not sure where you draw the line with these incidents when player puts their hands on a referee, but there was contact without a doubt

Be interesting to see who gets the 6 and 7 squad numbers next season.
I'm going to watch York tomorrow - interested to see how Corey Johnson goes.'"
Look forward to your report. Think he has been coming off the bench, so hope he gets some decent game time. Potentially a top class player.

Not being funny but if - and this is an if - Johnson gets focused and commits to RL, he should be better than Dwyer or Leeming.
I like York, live fairly close and love the city. Good to see them on the up recently.

| Nobody mention Leeming and then Dwyer going on their own when we had a 2/3 man overlap and when the scores were level I think.

| Friday just about sums the season up. We are absolutely knackered, we have a team half fit, have played something like 5 games in 14 days and we are playing against teams who haven’t played in two weeks. The who season is a farce. The players who run this game have no fooking idea. Saying they wanted to hold the World Cup when games are still being cancelled due to COVID it’s a joke.
This season the % of wins is becoming a farce when some teams seem to be managing the teams when they play and who they play. With the World Cup cancelled, they should extend the season and reschedule the games to be played. If we’re knackered they I want to see other teams knackered and playing with half a team missing. Friday game was awful, when Bisco bombed taking a hit and not trying for the corner, it was a case of here we go again. Listening to Niko before the game he is desperate to make the playoffs so he will fit for them. The game play on the last tackle was woeful, our defence was weak at times, we look like we are playing as a team who haven’t been coached all week.
To cap it all what’s being served up on the field is no better than the food being served up in the DS. Everything is served up around a tin of tomatoes. It gives me wicked indigestion and wind.

1. If it's possible to reschedule the Grand Final - the only availability we know Old Trafford has is on 27th November and nobody wants to see the SL season run on that long.
2. When do SL player contracts expire?
3. Do the game's primary sponsors, Sky, want to make this change?

| Odd to see comments suggesting we were tired on Friday, we were playing Cas who have played more games this season than Leeds. Are they tired too?

They also had a couple of 24 - 0 "fixtures," which I'm told are not as draining, mainly due to the fact that no actual rugby takes place.
