At scrum half. That is differnet to your context. I also said at the weekend that I wanted to buy an expensive watch, I didn't however say it a couple of years ago.

Like I said, the fact that you are unable to name them proves my point that you only know about something when it hits the headlines, hence the Gale one. I bet when he was in his Bradford days, which incidentally I always argued with Bradford fans he was quality when they kept saying he wasn't, you wouldn't have taken him at all. Gareth Moore is still he best potential halfback I have seen at Leeds since McGuire started, but he wasn't given anything close to the opportunites Sutcliffe is getting now, and as a result slipped away down a none full time path. Others go the same way, as their focus goes. That doesn't mean they couldn't have made it, it means they were not give the opportunity and therefore gave it up.
Quote Ronzy="Ronzy":3no0bz5oI never saw anything of Gaskell to suggest that he could barge his way through a gap. With over four years on Sutcliffe, he still only now of comparable weight. He certainly was not that size in 2011.'"
You said sweet FA about Burrow a scrum half, your statement was that he offered nothing to the team. We've gone from BS to straight mistruths now.
Gareth Moore, what the same Gareth Moor, who I watched play for Batley? From the one game I saw him play (well part game IIRC) he looked to lack more than a yard of pace. The fact that he has stayed in the game and gone nowhere since (is he at Feath still?) suggests that he would not have cut it at the top level. By the way, that is one more, you suggested there were three or four. More horse guano.
Who gives a fig what the Sky team think? With the exception of Carney and Wells, nearly everything said by the Sky team is hyperbole. Gaskell was nowhere near Sutcliffe physically at the time he was playing for Saints and you know it. The Sky team were raving about Sutcliffe last year but that doesn't suit your argument.
As for Williams, don't make me laugh. He has all the physical attributes but, as things stand, he can't pass or pick a pass to save his life. He may learn those skills and like Sutcliffe, I hope he does. One thing is for sure, neither of them should be thrown on the scrap heap in the forseeable future.
Right off to work...
