I'm not so much concerned about the atmosphere these days (in fact I make it to games so rarely that I'm not entitled to an opinion, but I'll give one anyway) but I just prefer standing up to watch rugby.

I agree. Those who wish to stand have no ambition. Their stubborn attitude will hold the club back going forward.

All because they would have to pay a little extra to sit down.

Seats = more expensive = more money for the club = greater opportunity to keep this momentum going.

Seats = more expensive = less chance for families to attend = less youngsters attending = less "new blood" in the fan base = eventually stagnation

You can spin it either way to be honest.

Or Seats = everyone can see. Too many tall people in the South Stand. (Tall defined as people over 5 and half foot).

I remember the atmosphear from my 1 time in the Anfield Kop standing but everyone i know say's it's not the same atmosphear.

I dont think the Elland Road Kop is the same now as it was standing either.

I'm not too bothered though a mixture would probably benifit all.

but is anyone in the know about when the rebuild will be started ,because looking at it from the north stand those two empty corners look very unsightly.

A standing area is not a choice that families with young children can make.

The kind of parent who takes a their child in the SS isnt really the kind of supporter we need to encourage tbh.

Chev no longer plays for the club, this some what reduces the chances of fans being hit in the mush by a stray pass
