Quote: Les Norton "Going against the grain, but I like the new kit. I'm not sure what the issue is. For those who dislike it, compare it to the monstrosity of 2006.

Then again, I've always like ISC gear.

I don't wear replica shirts but if I did, I'd purchase our new kit.'"

You are the kit designer and I claim my £5 icon_wink.gif

I don't really mind it, would of preferred it been the same shade of blue. I think the player issue shirts will look better than the ones in the picture.

It's a mid table looking shirt. It will fit the team well.

Christ knows what'll happen if we play a team with a blue home kit.

2 gripes;

1) Why isn't JJB modelling it?
2) They have kept it so that 80% of the LBS logo appears on one side of the shirt.

Otherwise it looks better than the home one; more in proportion and less like an abstract painting as the home one does. It is better, certainly.

But yes as pointed out your away kit and home kits should be differently colours as generally you wear the away kit if your home kit clashes with the other teams'! But who would this clash with? Can't think off the top of my head - Warrington's home kit is white, isn't it?

I remember NUFC tended to have it when Sheff Wed were in the same league - we tended to have variations of blue as away tops and then ended up making a 'third' top for the game at Hillsbrough each year.

Design-wise it's ok, but still not sure how we've managed to get a home kit that's 90% blue and an away kit that's 100% blue.

Wire home is mainly blue. We'll also clash with Fax, Fev and London, if it comes to it icon_wink.gif

If you go on the site, if gives you the option to add a name and number to it (so I selected 'Jones-Buchanan 11' to see how much extra it was but it hasn't added any cost to it. All I need to do is 'complete purchase' to go to payment and it hasn't put a cost in (but has equated in P&P).

Not sure if it is an offer or an error but thought you might like to know, especially if are one who gets the printed tops.

Yeah, I got my Wire kits back-to-front didn't I? I wonder if we will play any of those team in the 'middle 8' after the season split..? icon_wink.gif

I like Ryan Hall's comment of; "I think it looks great. It's got a classic rugby look to it with the hoops and the white collar and I think the supporters will love it."

It looks great because it looks like a rugby top and has a white collar.

Ryan forgets that many fans love fluorescent splodges of paint randomly applied to a dark top - wonder how they feel about this one?

Suspect it will result in a few more going to the game tonight anyway - wonder how many will be kitted out by 7pm?

My last post sounded like the sort of comment W. Eve makes on these boards - for the record I was writing it in a 'chuckling tone', not the 'whining and playing-down tone' that can be his calling card.

It is just unfortunate that tone sometimes does not come across and therefore I run the risk of being seen as 'a William' !

"The Golden Generation finally has its Golden Fleece! They have Wembley Cup Final winners medals to add to their collection." 23/08/2014:

I like the away top. Don't know why though they didn't go for a white home shirt (like 2007) or a yellow one (2003). The thought of watching us vs Warrington away this year is already bringing back unpleasant flashbacks to Wembley 2010.

Like the new away kit, its a bit like London's last season. Not sure about the home kit. But sad as I am bought both of them. Dread to think how many shirts I have must be about 50 after all the years of watching Leeds

If you've bought either shirt as presents to avoid disappointment on Xmas day, I'd advise people to check the sizes since they are very small.
