I still think he can get back but he needs to clear his head and get a strong pre season in. I assume he won't be playing in the test series so he should get an extended period to train and prepare for next year and with a new coach coming in clean slate.

I tend to agree with others that the likely scenario is back to SL sometime next year but at this point he really has nothing to lose and everything to gain with a huge incentive to put 6 months of graft in which i'm sure he will. We need him back close to his best.Centre is not a position the national side has tons of depth and quality in and the 2021 WC will surely be on his radar.

With Aus training facilities, weather etc. he has the best chance of achieving full fitness again where he is.

He looked shot to me this year, sadly, but it could well be that his injury needed another year to recover from. It's been painful watching him try to reach a top pace he no longer has.

Maybe he should quit a go and do something else. Nothing to prove. If he's unhappy in the game he needs to be out of it. It's a long life yet.

Watkins hasn’t been fully fit all year, hopefully after a long off season and then pre season he will be back to somewhere near his best

The one he let in after that was even worse. Totally lacking application. It's terrible to see one of our few world class players in this condition.

He's been leaking those trys for the last few seasons at Leeds, no real surprise that in his current poor form that he's leaking them against superior opposition.

I hope Im wrong, but its gonna be make or break for him as soon as Holbrook walks in to the training ground, I really hope that Kallum can get fit, get healthy (mentally and physically) and fight his way back to the top. Its horrible to see such a great servant to Leeds becoming a mere shadow of the player he was through injury.

You've got to factor in that he's playing in absolute basket case of a team over there, I wouldn’t write him off just yet, a decent off season and a new coach could easily turn his fortunes around

Brisbane you seem to be getting a kick out of kallums lack of form ,im getting a wee bit sick of your opinions and thats all they are your opinions ,you and about 8 others think this forum is your own and have opinions on everything and everybody,and all of use think leeds rhinos should listen and care what use think .kallum has a family to support and whilst entertaining his fans his knee goes ,whilst theres no saying he will ever be the same again i dont no ,but what i do no is he put his body on the line playing for you and now all he gets is ridicule..its an injury thats effected is form an injury ..how far did you go in the sport and were you just brilliant from start to finish and played at the highest level ?....All i can say is hope the lad comes back and gets back to what we all no hes capable of and if not an injury robbed im of is job .Get behind him support im and lets all hope he pulls through ...
