What makes you say that? All I can see is the same "details" being regurgitated by different media outlets.

Feel for the club a bit here. GH is very clear in his statement but as others have said, it seemed to make assumptions rather than have input from Furner. I think I read they would be issuing a more detailed statement later today but realistically it's probably pointless. Whatever is people said, people will claim smoke and mirrors...

Turning up in more news and just heard on radio that Furner is claiming he has the get out clause and GH isn't.

Lots of 2+2=5 going on so far I think. Perhaps he does have the clause, perhaps not. Two people know that for sure and neither post on here...

I'd be surprised if Furner is saying that directly. I'd guess it's just been paraphrased from the article that surfaced this morning.

Can an individual be prosecuted for breach of contract and is it similar to that of Iestyn Harris if no clause in Furner`s contract exists?
I`m pretty sure if Leeds decided to tear up Furner`s contract due to the arrival of say Richard Agar then Furner would be suing them for around 3 years worth of compensation.

Even if there was I have seen nothing concrete to suggest he is top choice.

As Leeds have suffered little or no loss I would suggest there might be little come back on Furner if he walked. Has he technically actually started?

Only issue I see, is where is Furners comments? why isn't he refuting these rumours?

The longer there's nothing coming from the horses mouth the more likely there will be the usual dispute, legal threat, undisclosed settlement etc.
