You need to accept that not everyone has to agree with you. I dont care if you answer my question, you'v shown me you lack an undestanding of the game, your answer would more than likely be another failed attempt at intellect, humour or a mixture of both, maybe some nonsense about gold and crap. I dont rate mcdermott, you do. Il be the bigger man and say we'l agree to disagree.'"
Ok but make sure you don’t mix gold and crap. That wouldn’t make a nice SL winners ring. Well done for being the bigger man.

0 times, if you’re referring to 2016, we were never even close to getting relegated.

We were closer before the current management team took over do you remember 1996?
You may not rate McDermott but his record will speak for itself, as does the serial moaners record of being proven wrong.

| Quote: Biff Tannen "I know i started this about the laughton era saying i loved it to watch but i have to say that if that was in the social media era like now, you would still have got many many people wanting his head on a regular basis. Mainly because we were so starved of success back then and he got so much money to spend and we fell short, i remember he brought in Hanley, Eyres, Mercer, Fallon, Innes, Faimalo, Iro, Tait and others all cost a lot of money and with his reputation for winning trophies at Widnes we all thought it would be a given he would deliver for us.yes looking back the rugby was great, fantastic at times. But lets not pretend there was not serious frustration at the time we couldn't land any trophies as good as wigan were
Yeah there would probably be a good few who would of been unhappy that we couldnt challenge wigan, the adult me might of been one of them, but id like think i wouldnt of been. Im from cumbria, all my mates were wigan fans, but i was drawn to Leeds, loved watching them and thought kevin iro was the best thing goin. i was only a kid at the time so cant remember the frustration, I was dissapointed, especially with the challenge cups i didnt expect us to topple them over the league season, with the format as it was then, but knew we could beat them in one off games,so went into the finals full of hope, but it wasnt to be. Good times all in all though.

| Good news that oledZki is OK. Not much going right at moment. One win in 7 in SL. Out of next 4 games only Catalan at home looks a fair chance of a win. If we lose that one as well, we will need some wins from the last 3 rounds v Wakey, Widnes and Salford to avoid middle 8's and try to build for the semi final Confidence looks low and we are short of leaders. Ward is a fine player but I think trying to fix defensive problems for teammates and making errors in doing so and trying to do too much with the ball.
We may Kop a few hidings in next few matches.
Can't see Ablett being fit for saints, if he plays it will likely be another one playing injured.
Hives rising to 2016 levels.

Good times indeed and the 94/95 challenge cup finals rate as some of my best memories i spent with my late father but... I reckon him seeimg the team we both followed winning a treble would have topped it by a country mile, we as leeds supporters have been so lucky to have see what this team and coaches/management team has achieved over the last 15 years it just makes me laugh to see the threads like mcdermott out run on for 7 years whilst we consistently challenge and win trophies

Yeah i remember 1996, thats why i said before hetherington and caddick saved us. Nathan Picchi, so on and so forth.
Like i said we dont agree on mcdermott and theres nothing wrong with that. No point wasting our time going over and over it. We'r not going to change each others view so mayswel leave it at that.

Michael Maguire for the short time he was here. Although the competition for that honour hasnt been great imo, as Justin Holbrook is proving now. Darryl powell from the british coaches, done a brilliant job taking cas from where they were to where they are now, also did a lot of good work for us just before Tony Smith took over, would love him back at Leeds at some point.

Give over, we’re you asleep all season? Without the Segeyaro signing we were gone, no doubt about it.
As for your question of who better last ten years in this comp. that depends what your measurement is. Most would be the true answer. But if it is only trophy’s then of course none. But the whole point is, super league is a doomed competition because of the likes of McDermott and his ilk. Between them they have taken our game backwards by many years. The longer they stay in the game at the top, the worse our comp becomes. To measure against one another is a pointless excersise, more important is what could have been with truer quality coaches.

| This Team/Squad needs quality adding to it but it also needs different ideas or game-plans even more so with so many injuries.
The Trophy count is beyond question but the adaptability to different challenges i.e New Players/injuries and plan A not working is clearly missing.
I include everyone within that as well Coaches GH and Players.
To simply say it's injuries and shrug it off IN MY OPINION is absolute rubbish.
Other Teams have adapted and still produced decent performances/wins so why shouldn't we?
I've said it many times id rather see a TEAM of kids having a dig and losing playing decent RL than the current efforts served up.
Past success doesn't make this ok nor should it GH has a history of being ruthless with players and Coaches so why not continue that approach?
The losing is never a problem it's how we lose why we lose and then continually repeat the same mistakes i.e picking injured players ,picking players out of form & the same predictable game plan.
I don't think i's unreasonable to question any of this irrespective of previous records and it's always done on a "Here and Now" approach.
We can agree to disagree without the petty name calling and the "are you fan"? BS
If we were playing in the lower divisions I've no doubt whatsoever most will still be following the Club but personally id still question a poor performance recruitment etc should it occur and why not?

| it's not what macdermotts won in the past it's now and the future.evety coach has a shelf life and he's reached his. watch the U19's. burrow has them organised and they have shape.evety player knows his job. the first team is a shambles. injuries or not it should be miles better. people using injuries as an excuse are blinkered. you can still be organised and competitive. I wish mac had gone at the end of last year. on a high and on his terms. I can't see this getting any better

I’ve never read a paragraph more full of meaningless drivel as this.
