if we had beaten you by 30 clear points it would of been a fair reflection of the difference between the teams on the night, trying to say we had all the luck is just not seeing your own teams deficiencies or the way Leeds played

Did you miss the part where I said we were awful and flattered you? For some context when Leigh put 50 past us we missed only 12 tackles. We were dreadful and you IMO were only above average and still scored 32 past us.

| Leeds first challenge is to clinch second. If Hull beat the it is likely that Saints, the only other side with GF experience who can qualify, will at best, make 4th if they make it at all.
That would give us a home semi-final and i would fancy us against anyone in a home semi-final. Now we have put paid to wigans hopes its pretty much certain we wont face a side in the GF who have won one before (Or even appeared in one in the last decade)

| Quote: Ronzy "All very valid points but, from my perspective as a punter, I simply want the team to perform consistently to the best of their ability. In my opinion, that has only happened for relatively short periods whilst McDermott has been in charge. That fact does not and should not cloud the fact that he has been very successful at extracting some very good performances from the players in key periods.
I'm not going to speculate on the why he fails to achieve consistency, why he has achieved the success he has or whom may also have contributed. To me this points are almost unprovable and, to some extent, irrelevant. I recognise that he deserves credit for the success experienced in his tenure and a good deal of respect. Furthermore, I'm really not sure who is out there that could improve the team to any great extent, the potential candidates seem a bitten on the ground.
Juan - You've failed to recognise that Wigan were not up to much on Friday, a point made by McDermott himself.'"
Nobody is really all that consistent. Squads arent big enough. Pretty much all clubs, especially in the crazy long season we have, have a few injuries, a few players who drop in form, and are dipping into the reserves of not ready/not good enough pretty quickly.

| I don't have a problem with losing to the better team or a good close game.
I do have an issue when only 2 subs are used and the 3rd gets 5 minutes st the end. or when the forwards are run into the ground needlessly. and while the coach deserves plaudits last week he deserves criticism when he does these daft things. despite what his acolytes say when you dare question him.

Criticise the sub thing, I don't care much for it either. The bits of personal attacks and silly rumours about how badly he treats players or has a non relationship with them like how Him perfectly highlighted in a post the other day is another matter.

| perhaps it's true? I have no idea one or the other mind.seth is a responsible poster and to my mind has never criticised Brian before. and he is a respected junior coach and several of his players have come through the leeds youth system so maybe he has heard uncomplimentary things

Gelling is the dumbest RL I have had the pleasure of watching. He makes Roy Haggerty look like Bill Gates. I quite look forward to watching Wigan now, knowing Gelling will contribute at least one brain fart, but appear to think it's all one big laugh.

You mean mispleasure surely.
Imagine if we had players like that at Leeds?
Mr McDermott would be getting crucified on here about their brainfarts, on a weekly basis... by Tad.
