| I have no knowledge of what Hardaker's done, nor am I privy to any rumours/texts/tweets/whispered comments in pubs but what does disappoint me in this whole sorry saga is that you'd hope & expect that any young aspiring players in the Rhinos set-up would look up to & learn from the exemplary conduct & professionalism of Sinfield & Peacock.
There are other role models too - Burrow, McGuire, Jones-Buchanan &, dare I say it, Ian Kirke (ok that was a bit tongue in cheek) - yet he still (apparently) chooses to behave more like Gareth Hock.
I do hope he's learned his lesson & that he doesn't follow the path of (say) Danny Ward.
I also wonder if whilst in the England camp his head has been turned by tales of the money that Charnley appears to be on & secondly if he's found out that Briscoe is on significantly more than he is with the Rhinos?
Something must have tempted him to leave Hull for the Rhinos.
Such matters can prey on a young, impressionable man's mind I'm sure.

What about Bailey and Delaney? How does the way he acts become any different to those two? and yet of course it appears to be overlooked. Perhaps they are who he looks up to?

| Im guessing briscoe moved for money and trophies, good combination
The only advantage playing for hull is that you get longer summer holidays because they get punked out of the playoffs early. Betya Gaz ellis wishes he came to us now. Voted wests best player 2 years in a row then anonymous at hull.

| Something else to put out there on the daft lad theory. People have their own views and I respect that, but I have mine.
I was at Thorpe Park Spa last week whilst the England boys were there, and was talking with James Graham, Sean O'Loughlin, Mossop, Sam Burgess, Tom Briscoe. What surprised me is that none of those players had tatoos at all. I just thought it was the in thing with these players, and to me no surprise that the mentality of those covered in them always seems to follow the same way.

You got me. You wrote something silly on a message board and I responded to you. Good job.
You're a winner, clearly.

Thankfully sibbs i'm quite a likeable and level-headed bloke, so I don't need to engage in such sycophantic activities. You on the other hand failed to read and comprehend before criticising, got caught out, before trying to backpedal your way out of it. Neither of which are particularly likeable qualities

Peacock seems to be covered in plenty of ink - is he the exception that proves your "rule"?

As others have mentioned Peacock is covered in 'em but it hasn't appeared to stop him being a model professional, whereas Graham from your list above perhaps isn't but that didn't stop him gnawing on Billy Slater's ear in the 2012 NRL GF ...... so I think there will always be glaring inconsistencies with this particular theory.

I accept there will always be inconsistencies. I actually pressed submit as I was about to put that Sam Tomkins was also there but was covered in them. Then again on the field his daft lad mentality could be questioned.
I can honestly say that I never saw that tatoo on Briscoe last week in the pool. And embarrassingley I think he was stood to me with his left arm facing.
i still maintain what I put though, and do think Peacock is an exeption, because he too wasn't the brightest tool when he was young, but has matured since, and I bet all his Tatoos were when younger.
It doesn't apply to all, I am not saying that. Just pointing out that the daftness seems to follow those with this sort of addiction.

You don't even need to defend what you said to this guy. The rumour you heard is true and we are already talking to other full backs.
The statement Zak brought out was a generic smoothing over statement to please the fans. Nothing more, nothing less.

Bottom line...
Quote G1The development , however, will further alert Wigan Warriors who are known to be keen on securing the services of the 2012 Super League Young Player of the Year if he becomes available.'"
This deal, by the way, is as good as done. Leeds and Wigan are just sorting out payment. I will gladly come back on here and eat humble pie if I am wrong but the only thing in the way of it not happening right now is an agreement on a fee. Brett Kearney had talks with Leeds over the weekend (and this is not a "rumour") but I have heard a rumour we have spoke to another fullback too.
At the end of the day the Bulls need to reduce their wage bill. Kearney is a high earner for them and Leeds need a good full back for next year. Kearney fits that bill.

This was taken at Peacock's last game with Bradford: (sorry if anyone finds this image offensive)
which suggests the bulk of the work he's had done on the visible sections of his arms was carried out post his arrival at Headingley - as a 28 year-old.

Anyone re-call how last season (IIRC) Brian McDermott was highlighting how a lot of young players were too easily distracted in his opinion while highlighting Zak Hardaker as an example for other young players to follow?
