Just woke up and have a banging headache but carn't stop smilling as the reality sets in that we are officially WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!!
Great game last night, stood as close to band in southstand as physically possible and loved every minute, think 3 pint pots had something to do with that as well but Headingley Stadium was absolutely brilliant!!!
So Congratulations Leeds you truly deserved it and hopefully kick on through the season, next stop Widnes!

Perhaps after last nights performance you can now understand why coach McDermott had selected Burrow as starting hooker. Burrow showed you last night that he is equally creative in the hooking role as he is in the half back role and was a serious contender for MOM with an outstanding all round display in all positions!  |

Any light been shed on the extent of JJB's injury? He was on crutches after the game when they were celebrating, didn't look good at the time.

Actually, just watched the interview after the match with Hall, Mcdermott and Sinfield. JJB has 'flipped cartilage' in his and is getting it 'cleaned out' today which I presume will mean surgery? Also the reason for Bailey not coming back on was due to the fact he was heavily concuss.

In most tackles the players head hits the ground - not a spear - that was the case in the second tackle - Bailey's head was already on the ground before his legs went above the horizontal.
As I said you have to admire his ability to win these - what did you think of his attempt at stopping Stewart for the first Manly try? |
