One line struck me.

Right, so apparently our ''first choice'' was looking for a contract in england thrughout the year, but didn't get one until the 11th hour when we came in after je'd signed a new deal with the knights.

If he was our first choice he'd have been signed and sealed mid way through the season.

One good thing though.

He could stayed in the nrl. He could have pushed for rep honours. The knights offered him a new contract.

He specifically wanted to come to england. First team debut in 03, still plnety of miles on the clock.

I have seen this guy play twice this season in the NRL and on the first accasion thought I would like this guy at the Rhinos. He tough no nonsense in yer face and a goog go foward prop. He made State of origen before a bicept injury and was on the perifiery of the test squad. He might be 32 next season but he is exactly what we want.

As far as I can see, Danny has made a very valid point in regards to Tingley Rhino’s post. I’m sure they’ll be plenty of others who’ll share Danny’s opinion that Tingley Rhino’s opinion is small minded and laughable.

However I don’t personally agree with Danny’s points because I believe that watching someone play two games for a top NRL side is more than enough to judge his quality. Back that up with the history and Tingley Rhino makes a good point.

Its called debate and there’s no need to drag Emma into this.

Gonna wait and see what he settles in like, i have seen plenty of players in the Nrl who I haven't thought looked good and have gone well in Sl, and vica versa.

But I agree that I have seen him a fair bit and not been overwelmed, but we shall see.

Well I’m hoping that The Sleeve will announce another marquee signing soon because the way I see it now we have a weaker squad than last year.

19 rear old current Championship Hardaker in (but on loan to Fev for next season).

I reckon we still have enough space under the cap for another top draw signing so come on Gary don’t disappoint.

I've resided to the fact that we won't sign anyone else, mainly because there is nobody else out there now out of contract.
Hardaker is one for the future and could easily be world class with the right coaching.
We could do with a fast centre, and move Delaney to second row..

Why? Cross had a contract? plenty of nrl players have clauses to leave and clubs have such strength in depth that they often let them. take sika Manu for instance. He has a year on his storm contract but due to reduced terms has been told he can leave if he can get a better deal.
