Wouldn't he be a bit old now? Still there'd always be an opening for him at the Bulls.

Played part of the '83/84 season on loan ( I think) from Hull. Scored the match winning try in the JP semi against Leigh at Fartown, and did indeed play in the winning JP final that season.

One of my old mates used to play for Dewsbury with him about a year after he had left Leeds and he was never able to understand the rules of RL then so god knows what he was like at Leeds.
Does anybody remember Morvin Edwards? he was a full back i think in the early 90's (i think they got him to replace Gallagher) really rated him back then.

| No, but Kershid did.
He made 7 1st grade appearances, 5 starts and 2 from the bench.
Ironically that was 6 more than his more famous brother managed during his Headingley career.

| When Rombo was signed David Ward who was manager at the time was not apparently happy. Think he wanted a forward instead. The Leeds board overuled him after seeing him score a great long distance try. I think they thought he was going to be the next Offiah.
Met him once and he was a really nice guy. Sadly never kicked on for Leeds after that promising start.
