| INOUT Quote: Shabino "Hall should have been resigned post NRL. But for next season…..seriously?'" He''s still fit hardly ever injured.Played 83 games for HkR with a return of 52 tries. He's a far better than Roberts.

| Hall is a physical freak, and it's a huge testement to him that he's still producing the goods at his age.
I think it's a sensible signing, and marks the end of Fus's time at the club. Hall is still quality, fit and athletic and can do what we've stuggled with this season - creating momentum in the first couple of carries.
He also doesn't block the path of Roberts, McCormack etc., who probably won't be ready to be starting players next year.
In terms of his off field role, didn't he train to be an accountant? Either way, he's a smart bloke and obviously a model pro to have lasted this long at the highest level.

| Agree with Jim on this one. It needs to be viewed in the context of the overall recruitment for 2025. Its one year and qualifies for club trained dispensation so the salary cap impact will be a big saving on Fusitua and releases a quota spot! Even at 37 he can hardly contribute less than Fus! Plus the way we play our wingers are used primarily for doing the donkey work out of defence. If we get two big forwards as part of the 2025 recruitment with money and quota spots freed up can understand the logic.
He can hardly make us any worse!

| Apparently we were after Phil Ford but Rohan thought he was a too structured player for his style of play!

Gives us a very solid wing option whilst freeing up a quota spot and potentially some salary cap again. A model pro in the team as well - what's not to like?
Ryan is a professional and he won't want to come and play crap at Leeds in his final year.
I'm interested whether Martin will stay or go. I thought he was very good again in the Hudds game, he's super consistent and does have some pace for a back rower. Kicking is a great asset too. I guess the club may want to retain him but it depends what other offers he might have.

| I would have thought some administration role - not coaching, far too clever to go into coaching.

| Absolutely crazy, when next season gets underway Ryan will be approximately 37 and half years old. Why on earth didn’t we sign him when he came back from Australia.

| This move sends a few messages.
1) There is still a place at the club for the Goldens.
2) Ryan will have a solid year back whilst we get one of the kids ready.
3) Fus is leaving, so we get a quota space back and plenty of cap.
4) Rohan thinks he’s here next year.
There’s only one of those things I’m not happy with…

Garry will need his old mate Lee Crooks.

| Sorry , as much as i love Ryan it is again the cheap option on the playing side when we should be looking at a quality winger on a 3 year deal .
As for those of you who said we should have re -signed him when he came back from Oz , i did not hear many saying that at the time as it was a massive risk after all his injury problems

| I just don't see the point for next year.
Surely we have better forward planning than this.
We should have been after Johnstone, Davies or even Burgess from Salford. There's plenty of UK options.
I know many are saying it's only one year and could be with a view to moving upstairs.
But he will take up valuable cap space that could be used on another winger.
I could have understood it if it was for this season, as we have no fit wingers.
But I don't get it for next year.
Great servant he has been to the game, but he'll be 37 and looking at some games this year, time has caught up with him imo.

| He wouldn't have been my first choice, but, he's cheaper than Johnstone, I think Johnstone maybe even a marquee player for Wakey next year. The fact he's a homegrown player probably means he takes up less cap than Davies would.
If it means we have more cap to use in other positions, then it's fine for now.
