Thought Halifax played well tonight and were unlucky with some of the calls going against them.
Walmsley for Halifax always looks good when I`ve seen him play.
Oh and Knowles getting sent off should surely means he misses the game against us next week.

Knowles should get a 3 game ban, minimum. It's the only way he will learn. He will seriously hurt someone else if he doesn't change his technique.
On a separate note, is there any news on Lomax's HIA result? I hope he is uninjured, but a couple of weeks of precautionary rest would be nice.

Just seen a graphic that since that grand final ban got overturned, he’s played around 13 games, with 8 matches and this latest red card spread throughout that time. His longest run of games since then has been 6.
If I were a saints fan I’d be concerned. The old saying ‘availability is an ability’ rings true here.

I would expect, with his record, at least 4 games.
makes saints pathetic efforts to make him available for last season's grand final very shallow.

I think McDonnell could be a great player I'd like to see him get more running chances on the edge if he can match Abletts service to the club he'll have been an inspired signing. |
