Perfectly happy with that too. I put Mellor there as I think Martin is the better back rower and I think the game will be won and lost in the forwards. |

I’d rather play Simpson than Mellor though. We need to still look ahead and Simpson will be buzzing and wanting to keep his unexpected run in the team going. Mellor offers nothing more at centre imho…..

KR have lost Linnett to a 12 week injury. I expect a youthful team to come to Headingley on Friday with them having the CC Semi final week after, not worth losing more players to injury / suspension / HIA.

In a way I hope so because we desperately need the points. I certainly couldn't see our current decimated line up coping with them at anything like full strength. Just can't recall Tony Smith playing weakened teams before big games before. |

Agree, It would be a great win but seems highly unlikely. We have not been able to rest anyone in this 4 game
Period, had golden point in game 1 and now have 17 year olds backing up for 3 or 4 in a row. I think there is a good chance we will hit the wall. A win would be a fantastic way for the prophet to sign off as interim head coach. |

I’ve been quite impressed with O’Connor the last couple of outings he’s had. Always busy and around the ball and seems to have put some size on too. Good to see him get a run.
