Exactly im not sure what people were expecting it was always going to be either JJB or Long in the interim

| Resigning now is best for all concerned. If the relationship with players turned toxic he couldn't be DoR. Now the focus is on the players - if we rebound it will show they'd lost faith in Agar. If not its worse as it suggests they just aren't very good.
As for a replacement who knows? There are some NRL coaches looking for head coach jobs like Green and Flanagan. I wouldn't mind so long as they saw getting Leeds back on track as key to their chances of another NRL gig. Need to be careful, but the last thing we should worry about is someone who will be afraid to shake up the team.

Exactly. To me this was always the concern with Agar ceasing to be the coach. I would argue that both JJB and Long are equally culpable, if not more so, for the current mess but now they are in charge! What chance of them leaving the club when a new coach is finally appointed? Slim, I would think.

Long will go but getting JJB out could be a challenge for any coach and if the rumours regarding Furner are true his presence could have a negative impact on who will apply for the role.

| You have offered the job to Justin Morgan. Not sure if he has accepted or not.

Paul Green could be a good shout - Flanagan no chance - can't they get Trent Robinson?

From an outsider point of view that seems a really risky move.
Whe was his last head coaching gig? 2011?

| JJB was a player during our first foray into disaster in 2016 and was also there in 2018 and a bit in 2019. Not sure why he'd be expected to be some kind of great leader when it wasn't apparent when he was still playing.

| Dreading to see who we appoint next. We don't act like a club that wants to compete anymore.

I'd heard that, this morning. Morgan could do a job, he had Hull KR fired up and sometimes over performing, for most of his tenure.

Last I heard he was coaching the NZ women’s team.
Seems a bit random to me, not sure if he is still at NZ warriors.
