| Tindall didn’t get many minutes but looked really strong with ball in hand.

| Myler, Newman, Briscoe, Sezer, Austin played really well for me and looks like the battle for the places is definitely on. I also thought young sinfield played well in his small stint at the end of the game.
Tetevano is suited to prop and would have him constantly there stints with Oledzki, Prior, Holroyd. Smith & Bentley would fit well with consistent 13.

Agree but we need to see him tested in D again.

| Agree with most of what people have already put. Really like Tetevano at prop. Also liked Bentley had a good game in defence

| Weve the makings of a very competitive team if we can stay relatively injury free in key positions.

Come on , this is us we’re taking about. Recent history doesn’t suggest that….!

| Thought the pack played well but need to remember they weren`t up against much.
Must keep Tetavano at prop and Smith LF.
Leeming for me the only weak link but did enough just.
Half backs good and Myler who was my player of the year a well deserved mom.
Not sure where Walker fits in barring injuries.
One more decent prop and we have the makings of a top 4.
What happened to Muzzy?

| Some pleasing aspects in the shape of the kicking from hand of our 6 and 7 and the performance of Myler and newman in particular. Thought Leeming was pretty poor in his decision making and Sinfield had to do well on his involvement on the try by first picking the ball out of his ear.

| Smith had a strong game I thought. There is a very good rugby league player in there - but of an old-fashioned type almost but none the worse for that.
I’m guessing Muizz didn’t make the squad in the end? Maybe carrying a knock. His problem is he’s too small for prop and has Mik and Tom clearly ahead of him there. Then you look at the back row with Bentley, Gannon, Walters etc and that looks tough too. Sure we’ll see him in the Jan friendlies.

| Very hard to gage against such a weakened Wakefield side. I was impressed Sezer. Bentley was tough defence and drives the ball in strong. He has a great hand off. Austin showed some nice touches and will only get better. Tet far better at prop. Thought Smith was very good at 13.Myler had a very good game and deserved his Mom. Newman looked dangerous everytime he got the ball in the second half. Shame we didn't see Muizz and Walters but looking at the back row options I think they will get very little game time.

| Yeah Smith looked good and I do hope he is starting 13 more often than not.

It's going to be very hard for Walters and Muizz to break into this side unless we have a boat load of injuries.

| Question for me is whether the strength in depth we are developing will translate into real quality. We should be a consistent-ish side as long as our halves and props stay fit.
We do have a number of players now who can break a game open, which we’ve lacked.
Could this be a successful year for us or will we still need another season or two to develop?

| Promises to be a good season ahead. Good hit out and with more friendly games and more solid work on the training park we will only get better. Without going overboard and taking into account what we were up against I thought everyone accounted themselves well with top games from Sezer. Newman and Mylar.
What disappoints me is the pathetic criticism of Leeming who clearly is one of the top number 9s in Super League.
