As things stand currently the 6th play off place is going to be a shoot out between Hull KR, Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers.
So just for a bit of fun
Here are each of these 3 sides remaining fixtures that are currently scheduled to be played and also the current SL table with each clubs games played, League Points Accumulated, % score and also the minimum number of games required to be played by each club in order to reach the 18 matches played to meet the criteria set out to qualify for the play off's.
Out of these remaining fixtures it will be interesting to see if any of these clubs "Play the game" and don't full fill certain fixtures that would appear to be against the top sides and would thus reduce their chances of making the Top 6, And also how many matches are played by each club above the 18 game threshold that are against the lower sides in the table in order to improve the % score ratio

Cas should face a points deduction and a fine unless they have the 7+ players out due to Covid that was agreed before the start of the season. If Cas are opting out of taking part in certain rounds should they receive the Sky tv money for that round? I don’t think so.

Saints also struggling to play Hull KR.
Nothing wrong with the two teams at Wembley on Saturday. Also all fans had to show their Vacination Certificate or proof of a negative, so odd that both finalists have now picked up Covid within 3 days of the game.
If the Cats v Cas and Sts v HKR games are off, it will be interesting to see if Cats v Hull KR is re-scheduled this weekend. No reason, why Rovers can’t use Castleford’s flight, as they are desperate to play for the first time in a month. Although they may be looking to bring their game with Leigh forward from two weeks time, possibly because Leigh aren’t top of the league???
Obviously nothing to do with the earlier question about interesting to see how Cas, Leeds and Hull KR play out their remaining fixtures!

what like you did last year when you refused to go to catalans?
" Leeds Rhinos have decided not to travel to Spain this morning for the scheduled Betfred Super League clash against Catalans Dragons, due to be played this Saturday behind closed doors at Stade Gilbert Brutus in Perpignan, on medical grounds. "

Wrong.....
Our full academy team were isolating....
We didn't have 17 fit first team players and as our academy team couldn't play we were unable to fulfil the game.

Yeh and we took a 24-0 loss???
Just like Huddersfield did also.
This is our first covid related call off this season which is pretty good going compared to other teams. Saints also have called it off this week so clearly something was going around down in London.

| Spotted this post from a well respected poster on the Wigan forum
Quote: NickyKiss "The real kick in the stones of what has been a joke of a season will be if the teams avoiding games (cough Saints and Cas cough cough) get the reward of it being extended so they can catch up in a nice steady fashion of playing a game a week, whilst we will then have to sit on our hands for weeks on end and let rust build up. The season is a farce really and has no credibility already. That will be set back further when the teams who have taken the mick get rewarded for it.'"
Definitely food for thought this
