I didn't watch last night but he really seemed to struggle when I saw him in their previous game.

| Why can't non season ticket holders purchase these games on our league? Can away (leeds) season ticket holders watch?

Based on last night I'd agree he did play well overall.
However I would add that his performance seemed to be based more upon enthusiasm than on following a game plan, both defensively but also when rovers had the ball. I'd let Smith spend a season on him before deciding quite where he might fit in our pecking order.

| I always admire the invention Tony Smith brings. With all week to practice, pro clubs should be able to come up with variety of kick off and other plays. We could do a lot better.
We’ve shown a ton of effort but lacking at times in basics like backing up the ball carrier and challenging for kicks.
I know we’ve loads missing but there was little class on show v Wigan, although promising glimpses from Eastmond. Hardaker, Hastings and Farrell brought the class, probably significant that Farrell was rested the week before.
Although we have more out they were also missing the pace and skill of French, manfredi, gildart, Bibby, field and Marshall.

| With Martin struggling in the halves, I would leave him out for the time being. I think he may benifit from a week off and tbh we have cover for the back row. I would have Leeming at hooker and Dwyer playing in the halves, got to be an improvement on recent weeks. Not sure it will improve last tackle options but will bring more creativity on tackles 1-5

Dwyer is a hooker and i dont want to ever watch him play hooker i certainly have no urge to watch him play in the halves.

I agree with that except Dwyer’s passing is atrocious. I’d rather Smith in the halves and at least play big bodies.

McShane was a half back tho. Leeds turned him to hooker. Major difference between Macca and Dwyer is Macca can pass a ball and has a rugby brain.
Dwyer can make things happen as well as anyone with his quick darts when they come off but his all round game is absolutely attrocious.

| 100% agree with that. Given a straight choice between Sutcliffe and Dwyer in the halves I would go with Liam. Talk about Sophies choice.

| Massive game now. Won't be easy as KR as are playing well and will be favourites with our injury status. Loose this and we are already getting left behind.....
