| Anyone know if there's a fantasy super league being done anywhere this time around....? The official superleague one is still saying coming 2021 but I thought it'd of been up and running by now..

Does that actually matter in terms of Wakefield being the "home" side here.
With no fixtures having been played and a blank canvas for the fixture planners and Leeds hosting round 1, why on earth should this be anything other than a Leeds home fixture.
Had it been rearranged at short notice etc, then, it is what it is but, the decision to have the game as a Trinity "home" fixture is a little odd.

I'm guessing wakeys ground staff may well be still furloughed along with other clubs whose grounds are still closed. Has to be a cost cutter to share in the absence of crowds

One thing they definitely aren't going to do is penalise the teams who have gone to the trouble of making their stadia available by enforcing games there to count as home games leaving clubs who haven't done that to have more of their home games later, potentially with crowds.

| Lets be honest here it is a bit ridiculous to class that game as our away game when the hope is we will be at home and away fixtures in a few week. Especially when its round 1.
Crazy in my opinion.

| Am I missing something here? Yes we all know it should be Wakeys home game but it isn't so what they have to travel 10 miles. Week after we should be at Home to Cas but have to travel 60 miles. Move on!

Would you say same if we had to travel 60 miles to play Saints at Saints and class it as our home game tho? And then 2 months later travel back to Saints to play them in an away game when it could be played at Headingley?
Its madness really.

totally agree, they knew the opening two weeks fixtures were being played at Leeds and St Helens so why not make them home games for those teams, simple really. A little bit of thought stops is all that was needed.

Why disadvantage Leeds & Saints by taking home games away from them when they get the biggest crowd attendance anyway

| I can see both sides of the unnecessary argument. However, if people were being truly honest it's a poor decision. Much as I admire Leeds for making the games possible you'd have to be pretty nieve not to assume they are not actually carrying the costs, Where Leeds doing so I'd be the first to say thanks and give this one the nod. So with the idea that Leeds is not making any great sacrifice in mind, any fair-minded person would IMHO say Trinity has got the worst of the deal that doesn't seem to have much logic.
That said I can live with it, in the great scheme of things it's hardly the end of days, just SL daft.

That would be a fair comment if Leeds were being disadvantaged but they have not. Unless you're making the bizarre assertion that Leeds are picking up the cost, I sincerely doubt they are and will be more than fairly compensated, which indeed they should be.
However, I see no way Leeds or Saints have or could be disadvantaged, no matter how it was sorted.

| It’s a good job there’s clubs with the infrastructure like Leeds, Saints and the like to be able to provide the sufficient resources to allow games to continue. Any small ‘advantage’ (depending on how you look at it) will have been more than earned regardless of financial recompense. And as already mentioned in the grand scheme of things isn’t worth much thought.
