| He was ok as an enforcer but I think people are letting fondness for him as a person overtake logic by mentioning Barrie here.

Harrison was more of a Scrummager than anything else, but a very hard man

Agreed, 15 Great Britain appearances, 1 for England and 15 for Ireland he was one of the best props around in his day.

jp and moz would be all time team but moz 2nd row at leeds became bulkier in aus
84-85 forsome reason i rated the players each game and player of the season was trevor paterson a mark glanville of a prop amongst the bigger name signings https://www.therhinos.co.uk/timeline/1980s/1984-1985/ people that have only watched this millenium missed the many failings at trying to replace holmes and ward - 2 names mentioned in the article andy mack and russ sowden , could throw in andy mason , peter lister , the dleeve , dixie mcneill -- that season was also tc's first

One of the best Aussue props of his era/all time full stop, was a selected for the 86 kangaroos but refused to go for for some reason

| JP is the obvious choice. Although not a classic prop he carried the pack every game and must have been a pain to play against.
Danny Ward wasn’t same class but I liked him. Honourable mention for Harvey Howard as entertainment - rubbish hands but legs the size of teenagers and bit of pace too.

| It's a shame that Moz never came back to Leeds after his successful stint at the Roosters
as having Moz and Peacock in the same Rhinos side would have been phenomenal
(Didn't Moz allude to the fact that he wanted to return to Leeds but that Hetherington thought that he was past it when he was returning to SL and didn't think that he was worth a 3 or 4 year deal, which Warrington ultimately offered him to sign for them?)
Peacock is without a doubt the best ever prop to play for Leeds IMO
We also signed him when he was out of contract at the Bulls so we didn't even have to pay a transfer fee for him.
In comparison Wigan signed Stuart Fielden and had to pay a £450,000 transfer fee to secure his services.
