Me too, I've never met Rob but when we follow these players through their career and live the highs and lows with them you do really feel like they are family. I don't mean that to sound glib as obviously his Family and Rob himself have the hardest fight they will ever have but it's when things like this happen you sense that Rugby League really is a family as well.  |

Sad news about a real all time legendary Leeds player true one club man and a genuine once in a lifetime player.
Really gutted to hear about his problem.
The rhinos foundation and virginmoney have a fund raising page hopefully some one could post a link Robs young family need the full support from the whole rugby league fraternity.

Wow devastating news. Was just talking to colleagues at work about this awful disease the other day after Doddie Wear was on SPOTY and saying how it is neglected for research due it being so rare then this.
Rob was pound for pound the toughest player i have ever seen on a rugby field so know he will fight this all the way.
