| I'm a bit on the fence on this one. On the one hand, I don't see him as a prop. On the other, we might have signed Tony Clubb….
And if, after a few games, his spirit is proving as lacking as some claim it might be worth calling in JP for a one to one with him to explain what we need from him. Personally, I reckon he'll have a big point to prove and could go well.

| He's always flattered to deceive to me. Picks some good lines close to the line which gets him the odd try, but that just hides the lack of an all round contribution.

That would be the same Tony Clubb who scored the greatest ever No Try past Brett Ferres last season.
Greenwood hasn't even stood out in the reserves this season from all accounts, so perhaps a change of scenery is what he needs. If you want to take him on permanently so we can free up some cap space, that'd be lovely. If you happen to know anyone interested in a rarely used M. Escare, please send them on to Kris Radlinski.

| Surely he's an improvement on Liam Sutcliffe in the pack?

| Does seem strange with martin, ward, mellor, smith, sutcliffe x 2,walters and Donaldson.plus cuthbertson and prior can also play loose. I appreciate they're not all amazing but surprised we've strengthened in that position.

| He is a round the same size as Prior so I think he may be thrown into that position, unfortunately.

| What happens if he regains top form, does he return to Wigan or do you keep him?
I suppose if he doesn't play well and isn't worth a place then he will go back to the DW.
So what's in it for Leeds? Have you got injuries to your back rowers?

| Agar confirms in YEP we have an option to make it permanent but we're having a good look at him first. Good move by the club. Agar speaks very highly of Greenwood, thinks Leeds can get best out of him.

I reckon you're right. Rightly or wrongly we seem in no rush to sign a blockbuster who can only do short stints.

Just read that, I reckon he'll play at prop for us, could be a great move, then again he might turn out to be rubbish, that's the beauty of this deal IMO good bit of business by the club again.

| If he's going to play prop this puts him in contention to take the place of Cuthbertson long term. It may also reflect on the Crosby situation.

Absolutely. Cant lose on this Leeds. I'd hope we're still looking for a top prop though.

| Very good piece of business for me. When Savelio and Greenwood were at Saints thought we had the England back row for next 10 years.
Greenwood suffered a bad concussion last season, then lack of form/ confidence. Don't think Wigan is the most supportive club in that regard either. Agar seems to have a much more personable approach so may be just what Greenwood needs. Definitely won't be used as a prop though. Interchange second row, who'll get a few handy tries. I really hope he impressed and we make this a permanent signing.........
