In terms of interesting behind the scenes footage or player interviews, compared to the usual yes. Because the usual is dull boring, “we’ll keep working hard in training” lines.

| Quote: The Ghost of '99 "McDermott's press conferences were interesting as he was always on the edge of melting down at moronic questions and usually came up with some interesting insights. But apart from that the yes it's hard to think of any players or coach interviews that you'd want to pay money for the right to see. But people will so the club should at least think about monetising it.
The LeedsRhinos TV stuff they did on Youtube for a while where they went behind the scenes a bit had its moments - they seem to have largely ditched it though.'"
Yep agreed. Though I don’t think monetising it is the best way to go as yes it brings in some money but it massively limits your audience. As I said I wouldn’t pay for the bog standard, dull, uninspiring interviews and content we get.
The only thing that might get me to part with some money is access to full length non-televised games with commentary. But I assume there’s something in the Sky deal stopping that as I don’t think any SL club has it?

| Rugby League needs to grow its audience not reduce it by charging for these things for a little extra income. A keen supporter might pay for this but not a passing supporter and/or someone who simply just looked out for the rugby league scores. All these behind the scenes videos, live coverage of matches etc. should be made available free of charge.

37727.jpg And last but not least, to all those people that wrote this team off, to all those people that criticized this team...tonight's for you, thank you.
I'll tell you this now, of all the sportsmen I have ever seen, this guy is the most impressive. Clare Balding 6/10/12:37727.jpg |

The same as NFL game pass. each club can have their own channel of content but part of the overall network. NFl season pass works out about £15 a month Cheaper if you pay up front for full 12 months. this is where we should be heading and it should be part of
An NFL style game pass for Super League would really appeal to me as I have no interest in paying a full sky subscription to watch Premier League football.

| The better route would be to give the material away for free on YouTube and find sponsorship for it.
A 'Rhinos TV' would only ever preach to the converted and, frankly, I've got better things to spend my money on than watching the U18s team (who I can watch for a token amount at Stanningley) and the usual media-trained dirge that is a pre/post-match presser.
There's a lot that can be done to bring out the personality of the club and players to appeal to new audiences. Personalities like Konrad Hurrell, who already has a big social media following, would be wasted on a club TV channel.

| We have trinity TV at wakefield . Think it costs £50 for the year or £5 a month. Loads of games from 60s and 70s plus every game from last few seasons.
Every match in full is put on there the following day, so you can see full matches if you cannot get to the games etc.
Really surprised that leeds do not have something similar.

| Rhinos Fan TV outside the ground would go down well.
Plenty of meltdowns to be viewed online. Lots of hits!

| I second this idea.
Had a lad screaming blue murder at our "useless No7" Ritchie Myler on Sunday, had to point out poor Ritchie was still on the bench
Best one was some one screaming "Bloody hell Thaler! get back to Lancashire" quickly followed by a friend deadpanning back "He's from Wakey fella" cue much chuntering and laughing.
I swear, I don't know why some people go to games if all they constantly do is moan.

Leeds a 'bigger club' than the pies???
The ultimate currency in any sport is trophies and they blitz you out of the water in that respect...and I'm certainly no lover of them.

Well it’s not. Otherwise Sunderland and Everton would be bigger clubs than Manchester City.
The size of a club is largely irrelevant to its success.
So Wigan are the most successful club but not the biggest.
Leeds attendances are larger and revenue and profits far outstrip that of Wigan.
There’s no need to be so defensive. Biggest is simply a different criteria to most successful.

Mentioned it on here at the time, I think, but one of the best we've had was a fella giving Sam Tomkins pelters all game and he shouted "go on Tomkins why don't you go for one" and he did from miles out and got it. Wigan at home couple of seasons ago.
Everyone stood around him just turned and look at him and shook their head!
