| Quote: Gotcha "Can't remember how many games Eddie Rombo played for us, he was a bit of a cameo? '"
I went to the game that both Eddie Rombo and John Gallagher made their Leeds debuts in, which was a testimonial game away against Bramley in 1990
Quote: Gotcha " Also one of the best signings we made that could have been really good, ended up breaking his jaw early and not playing again, Alan Rathbone.'"
If i recall correctly Rathbone broke his jaw during his Leeds debut v Leigh and actually never played again for us,Leeds paid in the region of £35,000 for him when he signed from Warrington
Quote: Gotcha "Andy Staniland that we signed from RU and then broke his leg can't have played many. '"
I was at Staniland's debut which was away at Crown Flatt v Dewsbury in the Yorkshire cup,he left the field with an ankle injury.
Staniland was a teacher was he not ? he was signed from Roundhay RU

Good player Gledders we had him a bit at Dudley Hill. At one point we had him and Marvin Golden as our centres. Great times

| Mick Haley & Joe Chandler from that fantastic match in 2008 when we beat Cas 18-12 with one of the most inexperienced sides ever:
Jones-Bishop; Hall, Jones-Buchanan, Smith, Donald; Allan, Webb; Leuluai, Diskin, Burgess, Lauitiiti, Bailey, Worrall. Replacements: Williams, Kaye, Haley, Chandler.

I think so, credit to McClennan who was at his motivational best:
"Thirteen of those boys came through the academy here and to see their faces in there at the end was fantastic."
"It's something they will remember for the rest of their lives. During the week I said to the guys, even the older ones like Brent Webb, that you will play 200 to 300 games and you won't remember them all - but you'll remember this one."

Best game ever. Had no right to win that game. We sat our England players in the stand. Cas were that desperate they had Westerman in the team after his appearance the night before.

"A double over their fiercest rivals must have had them playing their banjos at double speed in anticipation!"

Just coming to mention Matt Shaw. He played in the famous 0-19 win at Wigan.
