Looking at the Magic Weekend fixtures you would expect

Salford v Hull KR
Leeds v London
St Helens v Castleford

Catalans v Wakefield
Huddersfield v Hull FC
Wigan v Warrington

We finished 10th technically for finishing 2nd in qualifiers so we'd have HKR wouldn't we.

No because HKR finished 3rd / 11th.

So aren't the fixtures 10th vs 11th and 9th vs 12th?

Nope it’s 1v3, 2v4, 6v8, 5v7, 10v12, 9v11

It's those sorts of comments, unsurprisingly very similar to those made recently by certain Saints fans, that would make me laugh my c0ck off if Leeds lost.

To be fair he did say should and he didn`t say we would win it. He is referring to what are likely to be the favourites to get relegated so by rights it would be our easiest game compared to other teams we have played in the past.
We might still lose as these things happen.
Let`s face it didn`t we beat Castleford in the GF when they smashed the League last year

If we play like we did this year we would probably struggle.
But with the clear out of the dross and some better signings I think we will be much better equipped to beat the likes of London (hopefully).
Put it this way I have more confidence in Furner as the coach than Sinfield sorry I mean Lowes!

I think we are also forgetting that we were not all that far off for the first part of the year, all our players haven't suddenly become rubbish, don't forget Warrington (and Catalans) were in the middle 8s last year and with a change of coach and a few layers they are in the GF.

For the last half of the year we have been dire no doubt but there's no reason why we can't see an upturn in performances which should see us in the top half of the table.
