Some players wasnt flying back til Sunday night. The players was flying back in 3 groups. Sat at 6pm, Sat 10pm and a couple on Sunday night.

Hit the nail on the head there regarding Ferres, he has been carrying a few stone of excess (Bad weight) for years now, this isn't going to help. Really do feel for Stevie Ward, the lad cant catch a break, luckily still got age on his side and hopefully will be able to kick on.

You certainly can’t blame it on the player. Funny how Mr Bentham has these incidents more than all other referees put together. Something not quite right there.

Not sure you can blame it on the Widnes player either. In all seriousness, I think the referees need to be more aware of their surroundings and positions, same for both codes. Amount of times a player is having to move the ref or gets obstructed by them is ridiculous, as is this ban. I agree the refs needs protecting but every case needs judging on its own merits.

We are without Ah Van, Gerrard, Houston, Runciman,and Dudson, that's 5 first teamers.

I think you will find we will have a few more out than that plus factoring in the jet lag when some players only landed Monday might still tip it your way.
