Just before the cup semi final, we rested just about a whole team. I am unsure how anybody can compare that to resting key individuals as a one off in Cuthbertson and Parcell.

However, resting should have taken place when the opportunity was there, and most needed, Easter and the May double. Then debating it now wouldn't really be an issue.

Well the poster did say we should rest EVERY first teamer apart from "fatty Ferres"

I would start whatever spine we are going to play in the the semi final to make sure all combinations are sharp, which imo should be Walker Burrow McGuire Parcell.
Then if everything thing is clicking and we look ready for the semi we can rest Parcell/McGuire for the last 30 or something

Could potentially put Golding over onto the wing and give Hall a week off. He'll be an important player next week against Hull or Saints helping the forwards out with his carries against their big packs

The problem with that argument is that you could make it for everyone individually. Every player would physically benefit from a week off now. For me it should all be about building confidence and - shock - practicing set plays and defensive patterns.

Why we are playing key men like Parcell , Cuthbo , Watkins , McGuire, Hall , Burrow etc is beyond belief - I hope I"m wrong , but if any of them collect an injury that affects next week , there is only one idiot to blame .

Same reason Powell hasn't rested guys since the day they won the LLS weeks ago even if he does tonight.

Bit dissapointed, imo we cant win a big game with Moon at 6 as it puts too much pressure on McGuire but looks like that is what we will be going with in the playoffs.

Also is Walker injured or just dropped? 2 games in a row he hasnt played now so cant be resting

Why not if it's hamstring? Golding missed a few because of it to give Walker his first few SL games.

Does anyone remember the Wigan game before the semi? McDermot copped loads of flack for resting players.

Knee injury for Delaney, limping off in the first ten minutes. Ironically Ferres knee has also flared up meaning he had dropped out of the squad for Ormondroyd.
