Let me repeat that Tad. That isn't my choice at all, not what I want, which is why I said doesnt' make it acceptable or good enough. But he is very right to say those are the strongest players we currently have for those positions.

I still say Lilley is a better bet than Burrow at SH.
Problem we have is that McGuire, Burrow and Lilley in whatever combination in the halves mean our centres do alot more tackling.

Who's kicking goals then if sutty and lilley not in the 13?

I imagine it's just a case that Burrow has had zero minutes so far and Sutcliffe has played twice in preseason. Burrow needs game time, Sutcliffe is still on the bench and I'm sure will get decent time as can't see Parcell doing too much having only just arrived.

Did Golding kick goals in the past?

If you are a natural goal kicker it shouldn`t be a problem.
If he can`t take the pressure in a meaningless friendly then there`s no hope for him when the season starts.

Sutcliffe and Lilley are both still in the squad for Friday and will be on the bench so probably be one of them on the pitch most of the time post the 25/30 minute mark anyway.

I hope Ward & Ferres get some minutes in prior to ST's away both need it & the last thing we need is 2/3 of our best BR starting the Season cold & getting injured!

Just seems a bit odd, from what we saw last year Sutcliffe was far more comfortable at fullback and I would have thought that Lilly would start over Burrow when everyone is fit tbh
