A solid and professional performance from us tonight thought Parcell looked sharp to say he's only be here a week, Maguire and burrow turned back the clock a bit and seemed to work well in halves there were a few negatives but a lot more positives roll on 2017 Season. MOT!!!

typical pre season game. leeds looked very fluent and very good in parts, headless plays in other parts.
burrow ran the game from scrum half, which surprised me, he look very assured and played as a team player rather than an individual.
aston golding was outstanding at full back, great hands, tackled well, and was assured, safe and confident. leeds full back for years to come.
singo ran hard, parcel made good ,quick yards, Briscoe had a game to forget mind.
one thing that still is very poor is the ability to give moon and Watkins quality, early ball. both fed on scraps.
all in all a decent display against what is a championship side. tougher tests to come

Pleased that Golding had a good game I rate him highly and think he has the potential to become a top star as he has all round skills with a touch of genuine class.

Hall's post match press conference seems to indicate that Burrow has been told he'll be the starting 7 this year.

I see Magsy has tweeked his quad again as well

I will add Garbutt looks trimmed down & played well.
Still alot of work to be done though & i may be alone in thinking that Delaney just looks shot despite not having more bandages than Tatts for the 1st time in 3yrs.
I do hope we show the same defensive aggression & attitude now it was much better.

Lets hope not but in this game in particular i thought Burrow took control without him.

Didn't go personally, but son and dad went and came back drooling about Golding, saying he looked outstanding. Also said Burrow looked very good, with Moon and Garbutt. Said defensively we were very good, altjough made mistakes to put pressure on in defence.

Golding read the game very well & was very quick across the defence covering kicks & saved at least 2 trys.

Golding, Burrow, Ablett, JJB, parcell, McGuire and Garbutt the shining lights for me.

Ryan Hall has been an incredible servant for leeds, one thing though, the way he's always been dragged in field flapping his arms in D has always frustrated, did it again last night, hold your shape lad and trust your inside

He's a crock. If he's on pay as you play, then fair do's.
