He was an amazing player for Hull and Leeds a true match winner.

Only Ellery (certainly) and Kevin Ward (probably) had as much impact in their Aussie stints as Garry did, and, yes, they would all be NRL players if they were around today.

I've listened to Schofield's views and in the past he's clearly pointed the finger at senior players. Why does that mean he can't take the view that the coach can't be held responsible, and that a point has been reached where the coach is a big part of the problem, even if he wasn't earlier?

Also, from what I've read I can't see where he says BM should be sacked - more that he appears to have hit the wall and should consider moving on?

I've just seen a copy of League Express and Schoey does not call for his sacking.

From the bit of the article I saw online Schofield does say that both McDermott and Anderson at Hudds should move on at the end of the year because they've both reached their shelf life at their current clubs but backs them to do well with a fresh challenge. Talks about Cunningham going too and blames it on him getting the job early.
