| Hardly surprising that our veteran playing staff is having injury issues. It's the guys with a lot of mileage that are struggling most. Most of the team was hanging by the end of last season.

| Quote: RoyBoy29 "Maybe the hierarchy at Headingly know the drop to the middle 8's is unavoidable and are just coasting ready to step up through the gears.
The injuries you have may well be rested further ready for the push through the 8's. If so, that's a sensible move. Rather be prepared for the clean slate of the 8's, than climb the mountain you find yourselves in at this time'"
Bloody hope so.....every week we say it can't get any worse; every week it does. 50 conceded against Cas was better than 40 from the team criticised all season for inability to score tries.
Many cannot see when and where the next win is going to come from.
At least the Leeds players found it funny (especially our captain with his pally giggles with Smith)

| Last year wakey were in a big hole and brought in new coach and a load of players. This year Cas have had injury issues and brought in 3 loan players.
I am not suggesting Leeds do above, however the concern I have is that there appears to be an arrogant complacency that it will all be OK in the end without the need for any action. I hope we are seeking to sign a stand off even on a short term basis. We are in a relegation fight and confidence is shot. We have a long list of good players injured, however other than ward (who may not return) none are real leaders.
We desperately need a Sinfield shaped figure to help ensure SL survival.
this current team are a busted flush

| Your biggest problem is your forwards not getting on the front foot enough and you missed Burrow he was your best player against us two weeks in a row. Made 163 metres in the league game from dummy half.
On reflection we were lucky getting rid of Ferres although he did a lot of graft tonight for you he has lost that X factor he had in his first couple of seasons with us teams have worked out how to shut him down I think.
What do you think of Mullalley he seems not to have improved again and plays little game time we thought it was Anderson ??

| Mullally is poor - should not be at a top side - fits in well at Leeds

I'm not convinced about Ferres on a number of levels, however purely from a playing perspective he has not done much damage on attack. However it is such a mess it is hard to fairly judge new players.
Think mull ally was injured tonight in first half

| Critical? The fact that it doesn't get better from week to week, but worse is enough! The deluded clown must go!

| Leeds will eventually be demoted into the amateur leagues under McDermott but he will bring us back into the professional leagues the very next season before retiring and be hailed as the man who saved the club from extinction. A Keiron Cunningham-esque statue will be erected outside the stadium and wil need as much security as that Thatcher statue at the Guildhall Art Gallery in central London

| This "injury" situation is getting boring now. Cuthbertson and McGuire have both come back in the last couple of weeks and we look worse if anything...

| Wouldn't be surprised if some of the injured players are being held back for the key part of the season. Moon was supposed to be a week away a month ago, hasn't been seen since. Ward's supposed return keeps getting further and further away. Hall reckoned he was "a couple of weeks rather than months" away at the beginning of April.
Have Leeds thrown in the towel on the regular rounds?

I thought that after Mac's interview yesterday when he said there isn't light at the end of the tunnel for the injured players. "Just a shimmer." No point rushing them back now.

| The thing is that if you finish in the bottom 2 then you will only get 3 games at Headingley.

| The situation was critical before Hetherington and Caddick when the club was basically bust and heading out of business.
This situation is a team playing badly, been coached badly with 10 first team players out injured but that happens to all teams at some point but its not critical.
Whatever happens the club will survive.
