| Not sure he would want one would he?
Not to play for such a pish poor, bottom of the table, threatened with championship football team.
If he has other offers from other clubs with future silverware winning opportunities and in SL, why would he choose Leeds?

Not the worst player in a Leeds shirt this season by some distance.'"
Spot on. The penalties thing is an issue but his numbers in metres made, tackles, offloads are all very good especially in a struggling team and not ones you can go out and find easily in other 2nd rowers (that are available or realistic targets). Given Achurch is leaving, Walters is nothing more than making up numbers, JJB showed he can't play 2nd row anymore and Delaney struggles to stay fit then why let a starting 2nd rower leave? Especially if Stevie Ward is lined up for loose forward in the future. If we are looking at a new coach next year he might be able to work on the penalties issue and also if the team is performing better then usually you find yourself conceding less penalties.
Whilst this year has been bad and some squad changes should be on the cards, you can't realistically get rid of too many all in one go and we have quite a few others who should be ahead of Ferres in that regards.

| Quote: FlexWheeler "He always looks he wants to start something up. Every play the ball he's scowling, mouthing off and pushing the opposition player when he plays the ball, then in defence he's always giving penalties away and then mouthing off at the official. He never seems focused.
You can tell he's played a good few years with Danny Brough.'"
Playing a good few years with his first name namesake halfback captain isn't gonna change that then is it?

| I think ferres will come good, just joined a team that's struggled all season, look to next year, need to get stevie ward fully fit,Delaney and JJB been great servants to the club but now time to thanks and move on,need a hooker who can play full 80,think it may be time to call time on a few others maybe as well,Walters def got to go no disrespect but not good enough, falloon not made any impact, maybe some big decisions have to be made(has McGuire, briscoe,Ablett had there time?) can't wait 8 weeks for players to get fit especially when over 30.need to look at this as the older players get the harder it is to shake off injuries.

Not really Carney didn't have to leave because he was shagging somebody else's wife. He had to leave because he was shagging a team-mates wife. Same as Ferres. Unless Ferres has expanded his activities to Castleford rather than Huddersfield then there's no reason he shouldn't go to Cas. Though he'll have to control himself, I'm told that 6th finger is a god-send in certain situations.

| Keep him. Good back row forward. Of course he may not want to stay.
Galloway looks a good signing as well now. Hopefully he will see out his contract.

| He's probably been one of our best players thus season.
Should offer him a contact, other players should be out the door first

| Hard working and industrious but can be a liability at times.
We could keep him but I wouldn't be shedding any tears if he were to leave.

Is he anymore a liability than JJB has been throughout his career? or that Ablett is most weeks? or for that matter Bailey when he was here?

| I think Ferres is unlucky at times. I've certainly seen him pinged this season for things that other players have spent 80 minutes getting away with. He does appear to have something of a target on his back with some officials, Thaler in particular.
He's an abrasive character and a bit of a WUM on the field, in much the same way Ablett is. Given we don't get any of that from our front-row any more it's nice to see a back-rower prepared to have a dig and get under people's skins.

I think Ablett has vastly improved his discipline over the last few years but I was never a fan of the niggly stuff he used to get up to. I don't think JJB should be classed with Ferres or Bailey (the latter I couldn't really give to hoots about).

| He is far more obvious and gives them away in crucial sets of play compared to any other player

It wasn't exactly the niggle I was referring to, but more the annoying penalties.
