| What a ridiculous thread this is. Yes he let himself down, by allowing the crowd and Huddersfield players get to him, but traitor? Don't be so bloody stupid. He has been one of the bright spots this year. He could have done the same things at other grounds and wouldn't have been penalised. The ref played to the ground, and were he consistent with both sides, then all good, but it wasn't, so frustrations set in. Nothing more than that.

I'm really not sure why you are blaming the ref. He missed a few things- for both sides as it happens - but he had a decent game all round I thought.
What exactly do you think he did that was biased?

Gotcha in talking sense shocker!
Absolutely right, it is bad enough watching the shanook standards and listening to the dire excuses, without having to put up with the bat prejudiced ramblings of the deranged.

| Ferres could be a real weapon for Leeds once we sort our sheeite out.He has been playing in a team in turmoil and constantly on the back foot with rookie halfs to play off, hardly the scenario us or he would have expected when he signed.he does need telling about his discipline but apart from that i think he has a good future at the club.

| In terms of the incident that got him binned I think he has a fair point about the ball being reefed out by Hudds, the ball certainly looks to suddenly pop out and up. Obviously don't know what he said to the ref and how he said it (language may well have been worthy of a binning) but should've been a Leeds penalty down the other end.

How on earth could you see that from where you lot were sitting!
Ferres tried to offload the ball a couple of times in an impossible situation. The touchie was in a perfect position to see it, I'm sure he will have advised.
Ferres has upset two squads this season. He should have gone to aus.

Wasn't sure until I watched the highlights

I know he likes an offload but he's two yards away from the line with no one there to get close to stopping him if Ta'ai (I think it's him) doesn't manage to reach back on the ball and reef it out.....as for the touch judge he's on the further side of the incident (although it's only just the other side of the posts) and as its close to the line their's a sea of Leeds/Hudds bodies in his eyeline. It was right under Thaler nose though and he got it wrong.
Grand scheme of things we probably still lose but it was still a bad call by a referee who instead of 12-12 it becomes 18-6 and one man disadvantage for 10 mins.

You can't see (well I can't as I'm watching on a small screen) from that footage how the ball comes out properly. Rapira (not taai) grabbed at him- could easily have come out if he grabbed his arm rather than the ball. There were TWO officials right in front of it.

It's pretty obvious a rugby ball doesn't pop out, upwards and backwards like that without the defender having reefed at the ball. The ball could easily come out if he grabbed his arm only, but would've dropped to the ground.
I know their were two officials right there, that's what made the call even poorer.

Then it's a good job the amount of people inside a ground doesn't determine who wins a game
