Wrong. Ferguson's golden generation didn't appear for another 4 seasons. They weren't even at the club in 1989.

When you say Brian Mac can't take the club to the next level, what on earth are you talking about? He's already taken you to the highest level. What makes you think he can't do it again?

He's back there again and Broncos are once more one of the favourites and he's just signed another contract extension.

They eagerly shoot down anybody who say things like the team needs time, injuries, coach deserves the full season etc.....but they are just realists who are just giving their honest view on things apparently.

I thought the penny would have dropped for most of you by now, this is a plan to win EVERYTHING...... Last season we did the treble in the current format, now we are just moving on to a new challenge, I'm not sure yet whether it's the million pound game or top of the qualifiers we're going for this season but by the end of 2017 we will have completed the challenge of winning Everything at the top.

In all honesty, ls28_rhino is right, it's not the losses, it's not the poor displays and sheer mindless stuff we're seeing for me, I can't take a defeat a whole lot easier if we're outplayed by a good performance, but at the minute it just seems so easy. IMO (note that) the 'star players' need to step up, the recruits need to show why they were recruited and we need some direction, I'm happy with giving Mac a chance, but he has to show that he's giving some tactical direction and some coaching, I think our last tackle plays are a great example of this perhaps not currently happening, at the minute it's like there's a team being picked and just being told to go out and play. Sinfield said in an interview last week this is a team built for summer rugby, I'm not sure whether that's just saying the only tactic we have is to get it to our back line on some firm ground and we have to hope they produce something or not, but that's kinda how I take it and highlights there is no real plan. I'll probably get some stick for suggesting that is the case but hey ho!

The SL table doesn't make happy reading for any Yorkshire RL fans at present. We collectively make up half the teams involved yet the best placed non Lanky side comes from Southern France and the only Yorkie thiefdom is the bottom five.

Im not sure who the thought police are in this one, which side they are taking, are they pro or anti McDermott and the squad?

Either way its only 8 games in, can we win 8 or 9 of the next 15? yeah.
Can we win 3 more games than one of Widnes, Saints, Les Catalans, and Hull FC out of the next 22? Yeah probably

Would we even have to be brilliant to do so? not really. Fact is we could lose our games against Wigan, Wire and Saints and still be comfortably challenging for the 4. then if we win 5 or 6 of 8 in the super 8's and sneak in.

15 of 22 is probably what we need to get in the 4. Thats not even brilliant form.

I have watched Wigan's academy play the Rhinos at all age groups recently and you have some cracking players coming through like Cameron Smith,Ryan Jones.
Josh Roberts and Ash Golding in the 19's
I like the look of Tom Holroyd, Loui McConell and Owen Trout in the 16's too
So could these players be your next golden generation of players coming through?

Because he proved some of them wrong on a number of occasions and they hate that.

Must be said that plenty like myself got proven wrong by him back in 2011 but haven't minded accepting it, unlike some.
