Hugh Waddell (DOB 1st Sept 1959) made his Leeds debut (11th Sept 198icon_cool.gif in a home loss to Widnes having just turned 29. Final Leeds game was the following season (4th March 1990) another home loss - this time to Wigan, in an all too brief Leeds playing career that lasted 540 days.

Unfairly probably best remembered for being on the receiving end of a Paul Moriarty elbow in the notorious home win over Widnes (19th November 1989) old school RL. Although picking up a broken jaw in that incident he was back in the side thirty-two days later at Wigan (RT QF-Replay) Leeds having failed to capitalise fully on Steve Hampson's dismissal at Headingley for coat-hangaring Colin Maskill on his way to the line.

In total then: Played 41 + 12 (sub app) +1 (NPS) - 2 Tries, 8 Points. The tries came in his 51st and 52nd appearances of 53 V Sheffield and Leigh respectfully.

Trust that will suffice for now.

The game has always been next to useless in maintaining an accurate historical record. At club level it's often left to enthusiastic supporters like TVOC (Leeds), Bilko (Wigan), Sadfish (Saints) etc,. I know of no other sport which treats its history in such a cavalier and disrespectful fashion, and particularly so since the start of Sky's Super League summer schedule filler took over.

Shoddy workmanship there. I am not a web designer by trade, but could have done a better job myself. Its ok using a picture as the background (stadium page), but at least have the font in a colour that you can read as you scroll down. I turned it off after the first page view I had, but I guess there are many more errors to be seen.

I'm not usually one to pile in to the club with things because I'm generally impressed with how the club is run. But I really really don't like this. I know it might be the in-thing to have a website in this format but I find them more difficult to navigate and to actually find what you want.
As others have said I don't like the obsession with videos rather than text, it's more time consuming and means you can't watch it without headphones or everybody hearing it.

I also agree with William on the shoddy way statistics in general are kept (or rather not kept) by the sport. Some fantastic work done by people like TVOC and Bilko but it's work they shouldn't have had to do, or certainly not to the extent they have. I know this isn't just a Leeds problem, it's a sport problem but as others have said Leeds own stats on their own players seem inconsistent and incomplete.

TBF I'd judge it in a few weeks. At a guess they rushed it out in time for this particular week and will fine tune it in time.

I know they shouldn't rush it out before its fined tuned but I won't wet my pants like most about it.

The navigation is really rubbish
I wanted to settle an argument about the years we had won the championship and it took ages to find the Honours page. Had to end up doing a search for it as couldn't be found in any of the menus
BTW I was correct and it is 10 Championships we have collected, if the stats are correct and there is a strong chance that, according to previous posters, this is incorrect
