| Remembered another.
At Hull FC, the week before the final, and their fans forgot how much they dislike us to sing 'BEAT THOSE RED AND WHITE B*STARDS!' to us.

| Without a doubt the one memory that will remain with me for far longer than any other is Hall's incredibly special try at H'field. Has there ever been a more significant try or dramatic end (and we are talking AFTER the final hooter) to any sporting event in history? Wigan[i literally[/i had the trophy snatched from their outstrectched hands. Lovely stuff.

| Our 2nd half performance away to Hull FC where we looked like the Harlem Globetrotters
The home SL game against the Saints as we looked invincible
Briscoe's 5 tries
Zak's try against Wolves at Headingley was world class
JP's sidestep whilst scoring against Saints
Zak's tryline defense on numerous occasions when he stopped certain scores that no other SL player could have made
Walters winning try in the GF,What a cameo winning moment
Halls last minute try at Huddersfield
Just watching Kallums footwork and how he bamboozles the defenders
Sinny's 40/20
Sinny waving goodbye to the Stretford End on the victory lap of honour
Cuthbertson's unbelievable offloads

| I think my biggest memory of this season will be "the bounce of the ball" to use the term as a loose generalisation.
Dont get me wrong, we deserved what we got this year through blood and guts determination and belief.
But imagine how different it couldve been.
Any other day McGuire chips that ball over and it bounces out or Hall drops it. We were in front when Masoe fumbled that ball and Watkins closed the game out but how many times have Saints broke hearts in the dying moments. With 10 secs left in the GF Smith kicks across field and Wigan go up the pitch to win.
This has been the greatest end to a season ever and poignantly the season to end all seasons for us. Ill certainly never forget 2015 and feel privileged as a fan to have been on a journey the last 12 seasons the likes we'll probably never experience again.

These are the 2 key sentences for me.
The massive success over the last 12 years culminating in this quite remarkable peak, coinciding with players deserving of icon status finishing their careers?
It might sound like I have no faith in the squad of 2016 onwards; but I do. There will be more trophies I'm sure.
It's just I don't see this specific level of success being repeated for a very long tme, perhaps never again in my remaining lifetime. It has truly been that special and I agree a genuine privellege to have witnessed it.

Yep. And I reckon he's wrong in that too.
They dominated the first 20 mins of the 2nd half but after that we dominated them. They struggled to get out of their half and it was several last ditch tackles that kept us from finishing the game off.

The wide to west try is the only one I can think of from the modern era.
Actually, Tansey's MM try against the Bulls also comes to mind.

Yep i'd agree with that. No doubt that between minutes 40 until 60 Wigan were massively the better side. But 20 minutes doesn't make a half, nor a match in RL.

| Neither wide to west or MM had a trophy on the line, and neither was the last game of the season (regular). MM was just a run of the mill league game, mid way through the season. The wide to west, although in the playoffs wasn't a knockout game for either team as it was the old 5 team format where 2nd played 3rd for the right to play 1st, both teams had 2 bites at the cherry.
Halls is most dramatic in SL history and looking back, probbaly springboarded us to the treble.

Yeah but you're missing the significance of how much that try actually achieved/won...... it wasn't just the win/2 points ....it was the league leaders trophy, no less.....in the dying seconds, AFTER the hooter had sounded
