| The 19 means little. R.Ward is not getting a new deal so don't expect him to play. Sinny has a dead leg, probably won't play. S.Ward has got his Nan's funeral on Friday. Expect changes to that 19

True but based on recent squads I'd have expected Golding or Handley in the 19 ahead of R.Ward.

Agree. Maybe Mac is trying to keep Giants guessing. If Sinfield doesn't make it, Moon at 6, Briscoe at 4, Handley on wing?
Who will play hooker? Sinny, Burrow, R.Ward, Lilley?
No news about Sinfield all week.
Mind games I reckon.

| Re: Sinfield. There was an interview in the YEP this week saying he hopes to be fit for the semi but hasn't ruled out this Friday yet either. Reading between the lines it appears to me that we won't see him this Friday and that is why both Lilley and Robbie Ward are in the 19 especially so given there is still a slight concern about Burrow although I think he will play
I hate to think what our bench will look like if BOTH Sir Kev and Burrow miss out

Why should that preclude him from playing - especially if the service is in the morning

If Sinfield and Burrow both missed out then with the remaining 17 you could go
Hardaker
Briscoe - Watkins - Moon - Hall
McGuire - Lilley
Garbutt - R.Ward - Peacock
S.Ward - Ablett
Cuthbertson
Leuluai - Singleton - Keinhorst - Walters
You could alter around some of the forwards but basically you can name a nicely balanced 17. You can usually tell by how Leeds word the 19-man squad announcements whether or not the injured guys are likely to return and it does seem like Burrow will be playing.

| I'd expect Burrow to play but not Sinfield, so I'd go with:
1. Hardaker
2. Briscoe
3. Watkins
4. Moon
5. Hall
6. McGuire
7. Burrow
8. Singleton
9. Lilley
10. Peacock
11. Ablett
12. Ward, S
13. Cuthbertson
14. Ward, R (though I'd be surprised if he's used, so probably Walters)
15. Garbutt
16. Keinhorst
17. Leuluai

100% mate and no disrespect to Stevie or his family. If the lad wants to play then he should. If his nan is anything like mine she would be stood at the pearly gates with the slipper ready to go for not doing what he loves.

| If Sinfield is out and Burrow is fit, I'd expect Lilley to be in at hooker and Burrow to move to 7. Really not sure what to make of picking R Ward in the squad at this late stage unless he's going to get a start and a full game chance to see if he can be hooker for the playoffs.

Depends on the family circumstances.
Might not be in the right state of mind or he might be fine. Up to him and the coaches to decide.

Who knows how he is feeling mentally? Not saying that he won't play, but it is a possibility.
