I wonder how others feel about bringing in a player on anything like that kind of Money? I'm not sure that bringing in a Marquee player on anything substantially above the current upper level of salary paid to our top end earners is a wise move. It could prove to be very divisive move and could cause some of our current talent to look else where. |

Even with the marquee ruling will many SL clubs be able fit Farah under the cap (as a lot of recruitment for next year will be done even if not announced) as they'd still need 175k free.
Bet Wests would be much happier about paying a chunk of his salary if he was in SL

As big a talent as he is, he has a proven track record of undermining his coach and other senior players. He's obsessed with Origin and clearly wouldn't be happy playing away from the NRL. As the club goes through a transition in terms of leadership, I'd be wary of signing such an arrogant gobe.
I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole

I think the attitude thing is the biggest hurdle in terms of our interest in him. Since Eastwood and Cross and Burgess I think we check the attitude/personality of potential players whether signing them or promoting them from academy. |

GH has stated in today's YEP that there won't be a Marquee signing for next season because they don't have the spare cash.Garbutts former club are paying his wages for rest of this season and the replacements of the three players leaving have been signed up and Zak and Singo have got extended contracts which must mean a pay rise .So if we do sign anyone it won't be someone like Farah or Widdop according to this.

Sounds like a signing for money bags under-performing Warrington. Which in turn might make their current hooker available. In any case Farrar doesn't seem to fit the type of player Leeds look to sign in terms of his reported attitude.
