I'm not sure that bringing in a Marquee player on anything substantially above the current upper level of salary paid to our top end earners is a wise move. It could prove to be very divisive move and could cause some of our current talent to look else where.

Regardless of which club it strikes me that a 1 year deal is most likely chance of seeing Farah in SL. Allows him to line up a big final payday(with the increasing cap etc) back in the NRL for 2017

As big a talent as he is, he has a proven track record of undermining his coach and other senior players. He's obsessed with Origin and clearly wouldn't be happy playing away from the NRL. As the club goes through a transition in terms of leadership, I'd be wary of signing such an arrogant gobe.
