Not sure about that. Hock gas missed 102 games in 7 seasons because of suspension, how many did Morley miss throughout his career?
Les Boyd may be a better comparator.

As most of Hock's suspension time was due to the one recreational drug use incident I hardly think you can compare him to Boyd who missed two full years for GBH on the pitch. |

The point for me, given that I'm not much given to moralising about what players get up to, is that he has been unavailable for his employer to select for for a number of games that amounts to roughly 3 seasons of his career. That means that even if you ignore the cocaine ban, he's racked up a season's worth of ban in effectively 5 seasons. Did Moz really miss a fifth of his career through suspension anyway? |
